Hi Prama,
Thanks for your comments. I can honestly say that it has been the worst experience we have gone through and continue to go through each day as DD health has not been the same. One thing I didn?t mention in my previous comments is that after DD came out of hospital she got Phenomena due to her resistance being so low. I believe that this has been the reason why she is unwell today, she is always sick and having antibiotics. Before the accident she was healthy and had never had any antibiotics? or issues with her health. Even though it has been 2 months since this accident we have now been told that she may need to undergo an operation to remove the fluid sitting behind her right ear as well as have grommets in and her adenoids? removed. When I asked about the time off that DD will need to recover the doctor said around 3 weeks with no interaction with other kids due to the infectious period. DH and I have taken around one month off, not that we are complaining at all as DD is the most important person to us but we had to take time off without pay due to the amount of time we needed to be home with DD and at the hospital. Does anyone know if this is the case with that kind of operation? The doctors said it looks like a direct result of the accident. The daycare do not realize what they have done and I don?t think care either that?s what makes me so mad. Due to the nature of the docs case we cannot talk to the media or papers about this but I am confident that Docs will make sure this never happens again.
Thanks for your guidence and help
