Belfie - yeah, I had to be tough with calorie intake and exercise. The only 'rest' days I had from exercise were if I was sick / injured (so a total of about 5 days during those 5 mths). For me the success lies with both the exercise and calorie restriction - they go hand in hand. I have sussed out how my body works so well that I can generally predict if I'll lose / gain or maintain weight each day (I weigh daily which helped / helps keep me on track).
Oh, and I'm 600 grams from being normal on the BMI too - so I totally get your excitement! And a big YAY for being so close to being your lightest since your first pg!! Once I hit my goal last time I lost weight anything was a bonus for me, so I kept doing what I'd been doing - and thats pretty much when my Mum went into a hospice...and the rest was history. I went into 'maintain' mode as DH was whinging I was getting too slim lol!
I've heard great things about Zumba - not that i've ever done it. I'm a Les Mills instructor so more of a body Jam girl lol - but hey - if you're having fun, burning calories its all that matters eh! You're probably better than you think you are too !
