Yay Belfie! Great loss and awesome that hubby is joining you. Don't know what I would do without my DH as he is good at producing low fat/cal meals when I run out at the end of the day.
Great to see everyone else is getting there too. I am keen for weigh in tomorrow. I think (fingers crossed) I have lost about a kg. I would like to hit 1.1 because then I go to my next goal weight in calorie king. Anyway - see you all tomorrow!

Hi everyone - i have come over from the transformation challenge thread too! So far I have lost 7.1kg in the last 7 weeks. I have 5 to go to get to pre-pregnancy weight and then and other 4 to get to where I feel healthy and another 4 after that to be at my final goal - so 13kg more. Woot! I am over a third of the way there.

I am doing WW and can manage to get to the gym twice a week. I also walk pretty much everywhere with the pram as I have a 3yo and 6m old.

Aha! I recognize a few transformation ladies here I am coming over to this thread as well now that the Mid-Yr Challenge is coming to an end.

Hello everyone else!! And congrats on the results! So here's my spiel:
So . . I started at 75.2kg (so much for the it will just melt off you if you are breastfeeding theory pfft). This morning was 68.6kg, and am aiming to attain my pre-pregnancy / lightest ever weight of 63kg ASAP (So about 5.5kg to go) and shall reward myself by doing something different with my hair. Does anyone else have a 'goal' reward?? Would love to hear them.

So 63kg is def attainable as have been there before - I dream of being 59kg But don't know if that will ever happen, esp if start TTC before end of year. Shhhh.

Tehehe we should call this the TTC b4 end of year thread! I think there's a few of us. Even though yesterday I was looking at my now slimmer tummy thinking... I like this oddly flatter part of me - why do I want to go make it big again!

I'm aiming for below 60 (i'm a shortie) when I get back to work (end Sept) and hopefully betwen 57-60 before TTC... but TBH not really sure if I can be bothered to try get to the 57/58 point... but I haven't really set any goal rewards. I really wanna fit into my old work clothes for when I go back - it'll be like having a new wardrobe anyways! I guess some new clothes would be my reward... that and hopefully haven't less weight to lose once I have 2 bubs!

We've been up half the night, DS has a cold. I'm soooo craving anything bad right now. have had two tiny squares of dark chocky, two cups of tea and hoping that'll keep the lid on it. And shall walk (for the sunshine) and nap later today mebbe... hopefully that'll keep me going...

Krysalyss - congrats, that's an awesome loss!

Ammaki - you can do it. I reckon it's the folks who come & post regardless of loss or gain that get there in the end... cos you're still going!

Nai - you're doing awesomely... 7kg in 7 weeks, wow!

Wowsers, it's like waking up on christmas day to lots of surprises.... I have got lots of new friends belfie, Nai, Sas, I was in the transformation challenge until I got pg (but has a mc) I was in this thread before the challenge so I just returned here to keep me motivated to loose weight... It sounds like you have all done really well I did have a reward of a GHD hair straightener but I bought it already! I have a money reward system going on and I get a certain amount each day I complete my calorie counting diary and for each kg I loose YAY... So I guess the reward is a shopping spree because I will end up with about $600

Mr squidipa I don't think I congratulated you on your loss

Sweet bliss I had to laugh at your post about not being able to delete

Krys my hubby is fantastic at doing low cal meals too... He is a lifesaver

Ammiki look forward to next Monday honey xoxo

AFM... not time gotta run will be back later .... [LATER] OK so I am feeling very unmotivated at the moment to count calories etc etc, I feel like I should have lost more weight and am really set back by the weight gain last Monday It's so hard because seeing a loss on the scales each week really is the only thing that keeps me going iykwim... Then there is a part of my brain that thinks I should be able to just eat whatever (healthy) food I want and workout and it should be fine, I would loose weight, but that doesn't work either! What are you girls doing?

Don't worry so much Cherished - if you've been calorie counting for a long time you become like a human calorie calculator anyway I don't check and add up my calories anymore (too tedious) but I not mostly just know what the caloric equivelent is and seem to do a rough total for each day anyway - it becomes habit. Really strict calorie counting can be draining and obsessive so it's worth a break and seeing if something else works, and if it doesn't work out, you can always go back to doing what you were doing.

Thanks sas! I joke often that I am a walking calorie counter I should have more confidence in myself shouldn't I I'm feeling good and haven't gone off the rails so I am sure that the decision to stop counting wasn't due to emotionaly wanting to pig out!

Hi guys. How is everyone's week going?
Its not too bad here. Went over my allowance on Wednesday but the other days have been down. Today I was quite a bit under due to work being busy and having soccer. My net cal allowance is around 1300 and before dinner I was at a net of 100. After dinner not so bad and I had an ice-cream spider for dessert but net was still only about 800. But I didn't really feel like having much so I didn't. At least I am slowly getting past emotional eating.

Am off for a jog tomorrow morning. Long time since my last one so heres hoping. Plus am looking after the husbandry tomorrow at work so lots of activity there. Was thinking Sunday I could either cycle in to work or do an aerobcs video I have at home. It is power pilates and it is a killer! But focuses on muscles I don't normally use so is great in that way! Monday of course is futsal. So I think I am set for exercise until next weigh day.

Am really hoping for a loss of 0.8kg this week as that puts me into the 71kg bracket (even if it is 71.9). I would love to be within my 'healthy' weight range by the time my parents visit in a couple of weeks.

Anyway hope you girls are all travelling well!

krysalyss - awesome effort, you sound sooo organised! that's great. I'm inspired, think I should try plan my exercise a bit more.

cherished1 - gosh I reckon you'll be fine, as you said, you know what'll help and what'll hinder your weight loss. And just think, you can use the time you save to exercise instead!

Ammaki - oooh another one doing awesomely! You go girl!

Well I hopped on the scales this morning and was up a bit (I vary heaps anyway) but it was good incentive, so I've been really good today (had been a bit slack the last few days with my food). Plus I went for a 25 min cycle and a 30min walk. I'd been toying with doing 40 min cycle, but bub woke up, so I was proud of myself for doing the walk instead (with bub). Yay me. I have a challenge night tomorrow, having mates around, and traditionally it's a bit of a junk-fest... so determined to have a good healthy night. First time this happened when I was doing WW, I FORGOT to eat junk, cos I had so many healthy options on hand!!!

I've also been sorting out all my clothes - storing some, pulling others out - it's awesome to be able to start to fit into things that were too tight a month or so ago. LIke having new clothes but with no cost! What's not to love about that so motivation is hiiiiiigh for a good monday weigh-in.

hope everyone else is going well, happy Saturday!

    Morning weight loss buddies

Well I need a BIG smack on the bum Last night I watched a movie and ate HEAPS of chocolate (((insert smack on the bum icon here))) I'm so disappointed with myself! I dont' even care that I have AF, there is no excuses except that I was just 'weak' and should not have eaten SOOOOOOOOO much of it! a few bit could have been ok but not a whole block I am not even going to get on the scales tomorrow, with my efforts last night and af I can't imagine there will be a loss and I will just end up feeling like **** and completely falling off the wagon.... I am geared up and am heading into my gym right now to do a big workout!.....

    :yeahthat: *sneaks in hanging head*
Cherished, I'm in the same boat
Even tho I said I would try and do good... I didn't.

It did occur to me that it's kinda silly to worry about the kj in fish'n' chips versus pizza, when you pig out on chocky afterwards!!! And I had one of those days where I was just tired and craving stuff aaaaaaaaaall day.

So back on the wagon. Gonna have a rest day today... but will try eat well. Shall come back later to report. Must...keep...self... honest!!!!!
ok shall change language: "WILL eat well". None of this "try" rubbish!

Hope everyone else is going ok... Monday seems a bit scarily close!

OK so I caved and got on the scales! No change from last week so I guess I should just be thankful that it wasn't a gain Far out I think about my posts in this thread and I must sound like I have multiple personality disorder or something! Switching from one thing to the other, loosing weight is such a mental torment game I feel good that I been working out and eating well except for the chocolate! I will have one more week of not counting calories and working out, if there is not a loss on the scales next Monday I will have to go back to counting again

Hope everyone else is doing well... I'm off not to do a workout....

Cherished1, don't be so hard on yourself! There's a reason weight loss is a multi-million (or probably billion) dollar industry, it's HARD! And the whole point of this thread is to give us some support and express what you need to! I think you're doing great, and you're working out what works for you, which is best thing you can do.

Well I'm yet to weigh-in (that's after my morning express), but fingers crossed I did alright yesterday which was good. Plus i did about 5 hours in the yard... sweeping, digging etc, it was a good workout I reckon!

Hope everyone else is going well

well I lost 200g, and I'm annoyed at myself cos I know I ate crap on Sat night, and it could have been better. But it IS a loss, so it's stupid to be annoyed, which makes me meta-annoyed clearly I should just get a grip!!

Ammaki - reading your post actually gave me a good kick up the pants, that's great about your holiday plans!

Am now just deciding which exercise to do today... hmm between cycling or walking... don't think I'm in a Wii Fit mood today
