MG that sux! I know what it's like when you are in the groove and have to stop training... I remember about 5 years ago I used to get ot the gym every day at 5:30am and if I got called into work early I was sooooo mad so can't imagine being told to take 10 days off! You'll be back into it in no time

    Hi beczibeth03

Afm I'm back into it again and will just have to be happy that my Body Fat is going down... I would also like the cm to be going down too I think I will cut back on carbs (not that I eat too many carbs anyway) I feel desperate BUT I will get there... We all will

I jumped on the scales this morning and had a peek down 300g woot! Fingers crossed it stays down dammit

Cherished i dont think i answered your Q about DPs party , it was good, just a few family members, the cake turned out to be a fruit flan type thing so i think thats better then actualy cake? Am i right? Or just wishful thinking?

Netball tonight cant wait !! (thats smiley could also be me running to get the ball hehe)

Howd you go with the nutritionist snuggly?

Sucks about the rest MG, good job on negotiating down to seven haha, you could look at it as a refreshing break and after the seven days you will be able to go even harder then before? Maybe

    Good tips beczibeth03!

    It's Wednesday. I'm fidgeting.

Herbal tea. Fruit. Knit. Paint nails. Sew. Wax legs. Reorganise wardrobe.

[please add things to my mantra. I am REALLY struggling today]

OK, so the nutritionist sucked. I ended up feeling really guilty over the loss of our baby. She gave me a few reasons it could have happened, which was stupid, because I know why we lost our baby, I feel like we are quite lucky in that respect. Anyway, it was a bit of a waste of time, I thought.

    Gardening?

Sucks about the nutritionist!! Atleast you gave it a shot ...

I just finished lunch, had a healthy choices snack thing which is like pasta with a tomato based sauce, garden salad & a bit of bread ... i dont THINK it was too bad, probably should have left out the bread

Did i mention netball tonight hehe

The one good thing about being sick ... loss of appetite! Just made a chicken/av/cheese/mayo turkish roll ... couldnt finish it. Not sure how that rates on the healthometer either ... anyone?

Aargh I've just done my points. How can I have only 9.5 points left for the rest of the day??? Already used 18.5. D*mn you, full fat yoghurt *shakes fist* but I had to eat you before you expired!

Ammaki - I don't like your chances on the roll! My cheese, avocado & low fat ham sandwich for lunch was a killer

cherished1 - nice to hear from you again, and i'm so so sorry to hear of your loss
I like your goals & money reward, think I should do that too!! And do keep going, you'll be so glad you did when you get to those scales again next week.
It's so hard because seeing a loss on the scales each week really is the only thing that keeps me going iykwim... Then there is a part of my brain that thinks I should be able to just eat whatever (healthy) food I want and workout and it should be fine, I would loose weight, but that doesn't work either! What are you girls doing?
well I'm probably more focussed on my food and less on the working out (partly cos I'm not allowed to do high impact cardio or much weights ) . I know what you mean about wishing you could eatwhat you want and just work out to make it happen - that was always the way I did it in the past (used to do triathlons)... helped me justify all the carbs I wanted lol! But, once you've lost the weight, you'll be able to do that more so, its so different losing as opposed to maintaining. You CAN do it, i'm cheering for you big time

Ok i'm off to cycle now... go lil' legs, go!

Hi girls I'm gonna try to squeeze as much in as I can before I have to head off to work....

I too am looking to get down to the low 60's and the dream is 57kg. About 5 years ago I was at 57 and looked and felt great, at another time I looked and felt great at 63-62kg so I will be looking forward to getting back there... Just as I am typing this I'm thinking I was hovering around 65kg pretty steady for the last 2 years and all I had to do was loose 2-3kg and I would have pretty much been there!!!!!!!!!!!! was I thinking??? Now I have to loose 15kg I"m feeling so disappointed with myself

Now I don't know if it's just the inner liberian in me but my brain keeps reverting back to "what the hell do I REALLY need to do to loose weight" There is just sooooo much information out there! I know calorie counting does work and I was encouraging Krys to stick to it just the other day.... I have lsot weight doing it before but it came back on again pretty much as soon as I stopped and I don't think my eating habits changed that much??? Although that is probably just what my brain is letting me remember, knowing me I most likely ate pizza, salt and vinegar chips and chocolates Lordy lord lord I just want to do the right thing.... Has anyone read the Gabriell Method? It's great and it really jells with my model of the world and I'm wondering if I should just eat healthy (because we all know what that is) and workout (properly, not like a softy) and I should loose weight... HELP

Sorry it's all about me.. will be back later for persies xoxo

Morning all! Am quite chuffed with my efforts yesterday, whilst lunch was a bust the rest of the day was awesome! As soon as DP and I got home from work we got the dogs collared up and went for a walk, probs about 45 minutes...AND...wait for it...i RAN for most of it. Mind you i had to run weird as i get bad shin splints so i was jogging in a way that didnt hurt haha probably funny to look at lol.

Netball tonight so theres another half an hour of running hehe

And i jumped on the scales this morning ....DOWN 700g from Monday now lets keep it up!!

GREAT JOB on your loss Krys!! Thats awesome!!

cherished, im just trying to eat right and exercise when i can, as much as i can. I've stopped calorie counting however i am looking at labels more, checking fats/ calories/ sugar etc ... although im not doing too great on the weightloss atm that might be why haha

to everyone, have a great day!

    thats an awsome loss Ammaki

AFM, after a huge chat with dh yesterday I stopped calorie counting! And I think I can eat well without being so strict on myself as I already know what the good food is and the bad, whats high and whats low etc and I am going to concentrate on working out harder and longer and see how I go I was doing so great with the calorie counting though, I thought that I could do it forever... Don't know what happened but I hope I can still do it this way....
