Am I the only woman on this thread who wouldn't mnid if her husband did go away for a long time???? Must be 'cos I am older and have no kids!! I find DH a bit of a kid sometimes.......
DH is a big kid, he has ADD and I don't mind when he does go away (in fact I love it - I get a break from the bouncing energy ball), just that this time it was stressful up until he flew out and we didn't get any of the downtime and the "us" time (we usually cave for a few days before he goes, just to re-connect). Heck we were almost fighting on the way to the airport over trivial things that shouldn't bother us, but the last 3 weeks have been pure hell for us.
