Hi, Sorry for the delay, had a lovely long weekend away at the in-laws (well I dont think lovely is quiet the word). Anyway!!

Had my little diabetics education class last monday. I didn't find it to be particularly new information. So I started my finger *****ing and testing that night and everything went well. While away had a couple of higher readings over 7. I had a follow-up appointment today and the diabetics educator was impressed with my numbers and thought that as long as I didn't have anymore high numbers I would be able to get away without needing insulin.

However, when I came home today and had a small lunch (left over pasta and a little tub of custard) after 2 hours my reading was 3.7. From what i've seen on the net, this is rather low!! I had a afternoon snack, so i'm hoping that everything has evened out nicely. Have been booked in with the Endochrinologist for the begining of March.

Not really enjoying this limbo each week (as I'm sure no one would) and certainly not enjoying having to remmember what time I ate and what time I have to test!!
