Trini - I'm not arguing with your decision, but, these are just my suggestions...
If you're worried your parents might flip, you may be better to tell them now, because IF you go to them and tell them you are say, 10 weeks pregnant, they may think you've been hiding it from them, regardless of what you say about not knowing. At least if you tell them before the dating scan, you've given them the forewarning that you don't actually know, iykwim? Your parents may be good about it, but they may flip even more if they think you've been hiding it.

Also, they'll generally tell you it's 48hrs for your bloods - have you booked a second appointment for two days afterwards?? - because if you're doc is booked out now, chances are he will be then, so that's another week say on top of it... unless your clinic gives results over the phone... but then he has to refer you for a scan, which could make it another week or two...

I know you might be able to get in quicker than that, but just something to think about...

Hope you don't take offense! And good luck with what you do decide

Ash - i have taken no offense to anything you say..i value what you have to say & i know what you mean well i guess i will have to tell them 2moz after work! i know they will go through all the emotions but my parents will be excited but DF's parents on the other hand are different coz they are italian but im sure they will be happy

My doctors surgery gives the results over the phone & if you need an appointment to follow up results they have a slot when you can..which is usually only a day or 2! i hope that i can get into the dating scan asap so i know how far along i am

Tryinglikecrazy - im sorry about your BFN..sending you heaps of hugs

    Hi ladies, just catching up

Sarah/Kajolo - welcome to the thread! Hope you enjoy your stay here!

Kass - Hope your well, and hope things are going as well as they can be

Ali - I read the birth announcement, a big congrats to Danni!

Sarah_H - We know that all you mods are busy ladies. some ladies are only trying to have a joke around. I'm not a young parent, but I am a young person TTC, and because most ladies in here are already young mums, I've really got no-one to talk to in here about TTC.

Jo - Sounds like the dr. appointment with Sophie went well - it's very good that she's put on 510g in a week! Oh and my MSN is on my profile

Brendansmum (Sally) - Aww poor little Brendan.. Hope he's feeling well soon

Sal (skittlebub) - Yep, I like the sound of MSN chats - you've added me already I think

Trini - Well, there are no such things as false positives, so a big congrats is in order!

Krissy - So sorry that you had a BFN You can join me in the TTC boat!

Time for me to go to bed - we got back late from poker and I'm just about ready to crash.. Needed to catch up on all the personals I have missed!

    Hey ladies

Having a great weekend, hope you guys are too

Brendan was looked after by MIL today... yay some free time! I went down to Midland and he got himself a tat... it isn't finished yet, they were only able to do half. But it looks wicked!!

Brendan's cold is almost gone... still slightly sniffly. He only woke once last night and that was at midnight for a nappy change. Woohoo!!

Enjoy your weekends... i'll be back on Monday.

    Take Care

Have just posted an update on Danni and Jacinta.

Sally, hope everything went well with this part of the tat, he better not decide he doesn't want the rest because it hurt too much!
How did the mil handle having a sick brendan?

Well i ended up changing my me time to next fortnight because I have spent sooo much on presents for Jacinta, and of course her parents! I bought danni some relaxation stuff so she can get some me time too. But i am not really in need of me time right now, just some sleep

Mil is finally listening to me when I tell her not give Sarah drinks within an hour of bed time or we will have to change her sheets in the morning! finally! Oh and Sarah did the cutest thing at their house! Mil let her water the lawn! she was doing it all by herself too! she kept switching between doing the whole lot and doing it really close to the ground on the dirth paches! Thank God we had no mud pies made for us!

well, i think that is enouch chat from me for now, i have received 2 MSN requests so far but am too lazy to come find you all, so feel free to add me. general rule of thumb = if I am on here, then i am on MSN but appearing offline.

Sally- yeah Sophies going great, couldnt believe shed put on 510g. I hope Brendan is doing better. Good luck with finding somewhere to rent, were looking at the moment too because Chris wants a dog and we dont have a fenced yard here its all open. But the landlords happy for us to stay here for as long as we like. What tattoo is Nigel getting?.

Ali- congrats on being an aunty, how come bubs is in neonatal?. Hopefully you get some decent sleep soon.

Trini- In my honest opinion tell your family when your both ready, and if that happens to be after you've been to the dr then so be it, i know i waited until i'd seen the dr even though i was sure i was UTD. If your family ask why you didnt tell them sooner be honest with them and say well we only just found out ourselves. My dr is the same if you need blood work done they make room/time for you to go back and get the results they dont give them over the phone.

Liz- yeah my little madam is getting big quick, maybe a little too quick as far as i'm concerned haha. I can only imagine what Sophie will weigh next week, i dare say i wont be needing the newborn nappies after next week haha.

Kass- yeah shes well on track, the dr was impressed with her response to him clicking his fingers. She is definately growing too quick shes into 000 now, although they are a little big they fit better than the 0000 which were getting a little tight.

Krissy- im sorry it was a BFN this month, all the best with TTC next month. Has AF reared her ugly head yet?, i hope otherwise you are fine hows your little man?.

I think i've added most of you guys to my MSN, mines on for most of the day (although i dont just sit infront of the laptop). If i missed anyone let me know.

Question: What does everyone use for nappy rash/redness on bubs bum?

Well, i think i have most of you on MSN now too.
Never pay attention to my status - quite often if it says AWAY i'm still there, and online i'm away. I'm also appearing offline a lot too - so you can never really tell if i'll be there.

Jo - I have Curash for nappy rash, but haven't used it yet. I highly recommend Lucas' Paw Paw Ointment if you can get some - it's excellent, i just keep forgetting and when i remember can't find it.

Ali - Congrats on becoming an Aunty - very happy for you. hope Danni is recovering quickly and that Jacinta is out of SCN soon.

LizJessie - I always forget to take something out for dinner... We had pizza last night though because of it Our microwave is really silly too, the defrost cooks everything so i've given up on using it...

Krissy - Sorry for no BFP, sending you lots of for this month.

Trini - Have you told the parental units yet? What about friends? How are people taking it? I hope everything is going as smoothly as possible for you.

Sally - I'm glad Brendan is feeling a bit better, hopefully his cold has cleared up altogether by the time you're online next. Ooooooooh what tat is Nigel getting??@!!!! I'm jealous, lol! I'm going to go and get repierced soon, i'm very excited, bit scared though piercing through scar tissue is painful so i'm now undecided on what i'll get done.

Kass - How is missy Annabella (or is she e? oh i can't remember... ) doing today?

Sarah - Welcome! Sounds like you have some beautiful children, look forward to chatting with you more soon!

Okay, well Alex is doing not too bad at the moment. Whatever i ate to upset his tummy seems to have passed (after three days, finally...) and he's sleeping better in the night again.
Slowly remembering why i don't like small towns... Just a trip to Safeway and i feel like all eyes are on me and it's driving me mental. Someone will ask me how old he is and then i get this scornful look as if, what - i should know better than to take him out this young? What's the deal??

Think i'm about to lose a lot of the family support i had too, its a long, 'unfinalised' story but i think my stepdad has left my mum. Girls haven't even been home for four weeks in total and he can't handle it. I'm feeling really sucky about it all, i think mostly because mostly now MY hands are too full to be able to be of much use to her... and if he really is stupid enough to have left my grandparents and my aunt's help will probably be dished in the other direction, iykwim.

    Anyway, rant over.
    to all.

    Hey beautiful ladies!!!
Well what a weekend!!!!! Just got home a few hours ago from the craziest Party ever!!! It was a cousins 25th slash family reunion and MAN we can drink!!!! It was a full on set up, CASINO style, including casino tables in one tent chips dealer and all!! Live entertainment very hott drummer/bongo/knife hitting men/breakdancers, and fire twirlers, there was an actual bar that with a menu of drinks/****tails/shots you can order, in hindsite this was my down fall!!!!! See i was the Bar maid for a good 4 hours of the night (2 at the start & 2 again later, with the aid of my cousin and sister) See i instilled the policy 1 for you 1 for me, as there was a good 70 people there, after the first hour things became very very hazey!! But aparently i make a mean cosmo!!! It was very fun my family r the best, we r all very young so we r all best mates too!!!! Tim Fits in so well with my family so he had an awsome night too!! and E had heaps of grandmas aunties and uncles too keep an eye on him!!
One of the many beefits of having a young faimly, mum had me at 18, and her mum had her at 22 i had E at 20, so we have a very young family my unlce is younger than my hubby!!

Sometimes its so hard being a young mum, i find alot that my suggestions are over looked and when i tell people how old i am they make comments like "stupid" or "what r u thinking", "Y r u trying to have another?"!!! So it was nice to be around my Very supportive family and let my hair down!!

AF arrived today, im feeeling positive and ready for this months cycle of TTC!! If i fall then YAY!! but if i dont thats ok cause itl mean bub(or bubs as 10% chance of multiples on clomid) would be due in DEcember, but hey ill take whatever God throws at me!!

I REALLY appreciate all the support and hugs!! they were very needed and helped alot!!

Ash - No i havent told my family yet..i was about to but then my dad went all weird on us talking about how sad it was when my younger brother was at the royal childrens & he saw all the sick children! it wasnt the right time coz he was getting upset! We told DF's mother about it & she was really excited (once she got over the shock & he convinced her that it wasnt a joke) it will be wednesday for sure as long as dad doesnt bring up a topic like that!

Iv told my closets friends & they are really excited & are making me feel better about everything esp within myself! they have helped me through alot..

    Goodmorning

Ali, MIL seemed to andle ok... he didn't miss any feeds and got his naps... not much more to ask there

Jo, I use Curash... I found it worked the best for me. Bepathenan oitment made it worse.
We are looking to BUY a house... go halces and that way if it doesn't work we can sell and then I've got my feet better on the ground for moving on iykwim?

Krissy, I really hope you get your BFP this month. *sending baby dust*
