    Hi everyone,

Thank you so much Dellydoo, Tigerlinda, Brownbug, Peta, Blackduckies and Dusty for your kind words, it helps so much.

Brownbug, I think the TWW is the worst but good that you are trying to keep busy and stay busy. Sending you lots of stickyvibes.

Peta, thank you, you are right, I just have to try to think of the positives. Iwish you all the best with this (hopefully your last) cycle.

Miss C, I hope your ET went well today. Sending stickyvibes.

BG, 4 eggs is good. Good luck with your ET on Friday. Please wish BW well, and it sounds like her embies are doing great.

Dellydoo, I hope the OHSS is not too bad and wish you the best of luck.

Dusty, the other girls are right, a new FS and New Year is a good thing. I wish you well hun.

Me - I went to a counsellor today and feeling a bit better than yesterday. I just have to think positive and that no embies this cycle doesn't necessarily mean none in the future. FS may decide to do more tests on me and DH, and they will definitely do ICSI next time.

    Take care.

Thanks TL - DP is now very concerned re size and efficacy of aforementioned mythical creature - I may have snapped a little and told him to just get a frickin dragon - ANY dragon and put it by his side of the bed. He then expressed concern about stubbing his toe in the morning...my response is not repeatable. Thanks so much for your help - I am reading all about OHSS and am just praying I will be able to handle whatever comes my way. Singing "I am strong, I am invincible" also seems to help!
    Thanks

Kazza - Good on you for thinking positive thoughts - I guess one thing this is teaching me is this is not a one shot deal! All the very best to you honey.

dellydoo - good luck with transfer - make sure you keep up lots of fluid, things like gatorade and sustagen are helpful. DON'T be afraid to go to hospital if you need to - seriously, BW and i chatted on msn for hours yesterday before she was convinced it was in her best interests - and as much as she is hating being there, it really is the best place for her! last time she struggled through at home, and it took almost a month for her to recover - the hope is that, being in hospital, it should be dealt with much more quickly!

i will seriously be on your case if you're sticking around at home when you shouldn't be!!

now, a question for me! as you all know, i had epu yesterday. the lower half of my abdomen is feeling pretty much ok now, but my actual stomach is very ouchie - it feels really full and bloated - is this normal?

BG - I hear you and I don't think DP will tolerate me being pig headed about it - he is learning that I don't know everything (dammit).

Cannot help you re post EPU feeling until sometime after Friday. Hang in there!

Wow! What a read - all those posts today. This is actually the first time i've posted on this thread, but have recently been active on the tww and clomid/metformin threads, so hoping to join the chatter here also! BTW, i watched oprah today, but it's a secret! DH would think i'm a nutter if he knew
All this talk about dragons has made me laugh. Dellydoo, tell your DP that stubbing his toe is the least of his worries!... i might put one on the shopping list. I have a feng shui book on gardens

Will still be catching up where everyone is at - i'm in my tww, cd 25, 1st clomid cycle, just had great result on BT - progesterone level is 65, FS v happy

    Warm wishes to everyone

Kazza - So glad you are feeling a bit more positive about it all. I'm sure you will fare much better next time.

Dellydoo - Good luck with your battle, soldier, I hope you win your war and collect a great number of healthy eggies!

Wow, I know absolutely nothing about feng shui. It's all very interesting. I doubt DH would let me have a dragon by our bedside though

Dellydoo, please take BG's advice and don't be afraid to go to the hospital if you need to. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully not too much pain and discomfort.

BG, I too felt really full and bloated in the stomach on Saturday after EPU on Friday, so I'd say it is normal. I felt uncomfortable but it did ease for me after a day or two. Hope you feel better soon.

Theresep, welcome and good luck with your TWW.

    Hi everyone
It's been busy in here today! Dragons and ironing, hmmm? Very random and entertaining! Mind you, the only dragon around our house is the nasty cat from next door and ironing is *totally* out of the question, you crazy kids! Who ever inventing ironing was a sadist as far as I'm concerned

Melsta - how you doing there, hun? I start Crinone tonight - we can chat about all the nastiness of it in the next couple of days! :P I hope you're doing well and the wait is going ok. Any updates? I love your quote - it's wonderful to have things that really hit the right spot for us personally. It can make all the difference. You're a crazy girl for liking ironing, I tell you! Admittedly, I'll take dishes any day. I loooove doing the dishes

dellydoo - hang in there! You a real trooper, just like you say, a soldier going into battle. It's wonderful to see you have such a positive outlook, but remember you must look after yourself as number one, especially if things get worse, and we're very much hoping they don't. Take care! Best of luck for your EPU!

BG - awesome! 4 embies!! Congratulations! I was very bloated the day after EPU (yesterday) and really quite sore, but it seems to be disapating today, so if it doesn't start going away tomorrow call the clinic, hun, just to be on the safe side. Hope you're doing ok for now and that the wait for Friday is ok xo
P.S. Please let BW know I'm praying for her and hope she recovers as quickly as possible. Thanks.

dusty - absolutely changes for the better. New start is so positive!! What a great way to start the new year and the next step to your dream come true! I really hope you're doing ok for now. Many hugs to you xo

Brownbug - hope you're hanging in there ok, hun.

Kazza - sending lots of positive vibes your way and hope you're feeling ok. Take care

TL - you've been busy! Feng Shui is all a big mystery to me too, unfortunately!

Well, I have a tiny embryo on board fondly named Bernard by DF. I got to see it on the screen - it was 5 cells at 48 hours... which I'm told is a nice strong day 2 embie.
Out of our 9 eggs, only 3 fertilised, and only 2 made it past day 1. I was a little shocked, but I was told that these two embies are very good quality quote FS: " they are up there at the top of the grade and now we know that DF and you make beautiful embryos". Apparently the other eggs didn't fertilise as they weren't mature enough, which also means FS has learnt a lot about me and my eggies too.

So... one frozen embie, and one in mum's tum

I am very excited, but I have promised (sworn) to DF that I won't do any HPT's before the b/t on the 12Dec. He's a scientist, and he wants me to wait so we can be sure of our answer the first time round - scientists and their logic! With the wedding and Tassie, I feel very blessed that there are now distractions to help the time pass quickly, even though I viewed them as hindrances to the process originally. I realise now I'm so lucky.

Unfortunately I won't be round so much for the next week - we're off to Tassie in the morning with ILs until next Wednesday, but I will be thinking of you all lots and lots and really looking forward to catching you all next Thursday.

    Please be well everyone

Lots of love and best wishes,

    Miss C

Miss C, remember it's quality not quantity, and your two sound very good. I'm sending lots of stickyvibes to you and Bernard. Hope you have a great trip to Tazzie. Take care.

    Talking Feeling hopefull

    Hi girls,
I hope you have had a great day. I also hope that tommorow finds even more of you with bfp"s. I'm feeling positive today. I finally got in to see my fs and he is wonderful. Best money spent... He was very efficient and extremely informative and even gave me a bit of a chuckle with his bedside manner. So it seems my chances of having a baby arent totally over and that clomid isn't the b all and end all for everyone. So he thinks we need to take a more aggressive stance. So i have to wait until my next af then call him on that day or asap if he is shut and he said he will get me in that day and we will get the injections going. He gave me books and leaflets and a dvd to watch. The needle on the gonal f pen looks huge so that has made me quite petrified and i think it will really hurt on my soft pudgey belly. Not looking foward to that, and i know that that is only the half of it. So feeling positive but a little freaked out. I just wanted to thankyou girls all so much. I know I'm a bit of a floater and i drop in and out,but i have made good friends with a lot of you and i do really care and i do watch with eagerness when i read your accomplishments and it brings me great joy to know that at least if its not happening for me it is happening for other well deserving women.I do think of you all lots , Soul,Willow,bw to name a few.

    Sleep well lovelies

    Hello everyone,

How are you all doing?? I'm sorry I don't have time for personals, except to say congratulations to those of you who are doing well, and commiserations to those who are not doing so well. And lots of to those of you who have had your ET - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP.

My news isn't so encouraging unfortunately. After 10 days on the Gonal F injections, my follicles aren't responding as well as they'd hoped - only 6-8 follicles, and only one over 10mm. Spoke to my FS last night and he has upped my dosage, but unless I respond quickly over the next few days, he will cancel the cycle and we will have to start all over again in January. Apparently the first few days of injections are the important ones, so if they haven't responded by now, it is unlikely upping the injections will make much difference, but I guess he wants to give me my best shot at trying for a BFP this cycle. I'm absolutely gutted, as I had hoped to have a BFP for Xmas but it looks as though it wasn't meant to be.

Has anyone else had this happen?? Would love to hear from someone who's been through this. Poor DH is copping all my negative emotions at the moment.

    Thanks,
    Vicki
