Hugs hun. It's a truly awful feeling.

I tried EVERYTHING under the sun (even prescription meds), but the only thing that worked in the end was an OTC sleeping tablet called Restavit. It wasn't a complete cure, but certainly improved things. Did make me a bit sleepy, but that was worth feeling better! I used to take 1/2 in the morning, 1/2 at about 2pm and 1 at bedtime. As I got better I cut the dose down to 1/4 of a tablet when I just was feeling a bit icky.

Call mothercare (or interstate equivalent) if you want to be sure about the safety. They were the ones who put me on to it.

My GP recommended Restavit as well. That with a B6 tablet. I think she mentioned to me that it's what helped her with her MS.

    Other than that...
A salty cracker 5-10minutes before I get out of bed helped. (I never leave without a baggie of jatz - on the bus I sit and nibble on them)
Frozen raspberry/coke was one of the few 'fluids' I could keep down (and kept me out of hospital for dehydration).
Plain rice with mixed veggies was something else I could stomach.
Barley sugars or sour drops helped when I was trying to find something 'substantial' to eat.
Everything else just made me sick...

I found ginger (the ginger bears, tea, ale, tablets) made me feel sick, as did stemetil (an antinausea med I have used in the past - Cat C though so it was recommended when I wasn't keeping fluids down).

I am still a little nauseated now (I'm at 10 weeks now) but the vomiting has drastically reduced...

Digging up this old thread because I am desperate. A day at work feels like an eternity because I just feel so nauseas. I'm sick of feeling sick. I was hoping to enjoy this pregnancy, but instead I am loathing it because i feel so unwell all day

Anyone have anything else to add?
