I too am apparently considered "overweight" and one of the obs I saw at the clinic had me in a mad panic not about gestational diabetes but full blown diabetes for myself, not to mention the whole high blood pressure thing he even had me down as a high risk pregnancy, I then saw a different ob a couple of weeks later who said I was perfectly fine and didn't have to see the obs anymore could just see the midwives as there is nothing wrong with me, I guess it depends on who you see if you have a choice I would demand a different one and maybe make a formal complaint cause that is just plain rude!!!!
