Hey ladies. Thanks to you all for your kinds words. The ob said that the feedback from the Professor at the Alfred as positive and that there was no need for treatment etc. So he just wished me a Merry Christmas and sent me on my way - he wasn't concerned at all about the lack of AF or O. I don't think I'll go back to him again. My GP said that she is going to take my spotting last week as AF and do a 21 day ovulation blood test and order an u/s for early January. If everything doesn't sort itself out very soon she is going to refer me to a good local FS. We have been trying since April 05 with very long cycles so am really pleased about this as I"m not convinced I O each cycle.

Glad to hear you got 'something' out of it Morgan. I hear you on the long cycles. I'll have normal cycles for a month or so, and then the next cycle will go for 3 months, then the next 3 months, then back to normal...it's so frustrating. Sometimes even on clomid i didn't O, so yes, it is frustrating. Good luck hun, and i hope your GP and new FS does wonders with you...xxxxx

    Hi
Morganj I'm so pleased that your gp is taking control for you sweet. Ttc is hard enough without worrying about your specialists. I'm sorry to here that you have such long cycles too. Before I started clomid my cycles ranged anywhere from 28 days to 65 days and since I've been on clomid my cycles are usually about 35 days although the last one was 47 days.
Anyway good luck to you this cycle.

Missy your midwife sounds lovely. I'm wishing you all the very best for your next cycle of ttc.

Cinnamon Have you tested yet?????? I have everything crossed for you hun.

As for me not much is happening atm. I think I'll start the bd fest tonight as I'm on cd 13 today.

Hi to everyone esle. I hope you are all well. I will pop back in tomorrow and do my best to catch up with you all.

Morgan - I haven't been on it for about 6 months. It was really doing my head in and i put on a LOT of weight whilst on it, so even though it was suposed to help me, it made it worse in the long run, coz the weight then became a problem. I'm still heaps overweight, but i'd lost 16kg before i started on the clomid, and all that came back on within a couple of months, so i stopped to give my body a rest. I still have some in the cupboard, Enough for one cycle, but i'm not sure if i'll use it. It'll get back into temping first and see how it goes from there.....xxxx

Shan - good luck with the temping. I'm sorry to hear the Clomid caused you so much grief. I pay VIP membership on FF and find that really useful. Although my temps are all over the place at the moment. I am also seeing a chinese herbalist so am hoping the herbs will sort my cycles out soon as they had done before the m/c. Have you tried this path at all? I couldn't believe the difference, although it's taking a while now since the m/c for them to do their thing this time. I hope you get your BFP very soon!! xxx

Mako - good luck with the bd fest! I hope you get a New Years BFP!!!!

Does anyone know of a good website to purchase bulks opks from? I found they really helped us with getting our BFP last time too.

Just crashing to let Morgan know that you can get good, cheap OPKs from Lullaby Conceptions online. Their service is really good, and I even won some freebies once! Lots of the girls on here really like their products.

Missy, sorry you have to be back in this thread but it is nice having you. Glad to hear you are looking to the future in a positive way - it helps having understanding, positive people around you!
Morganj - what a shock getting news like that via the mail -hope you have a healthy BFP really soon!
Shan, glad to hear you are back charting - I am 2 days in now & feeling really good about it!
Cinnamon - for goodness sake test girlfriend!!It all sounds good so......
You girls with long cycles.....I take my hat off to you - as if it all isn't hard enough. I'm pretty much 28 days lately & even that tests my patience. Soemone else said they are not sure if they O every month - I'm not sure either - I suspect not! Guess temping will answer that question. Hi to anyone I've missed....

Morganj - Give Lullaby Conceptions a go. They are a BB sponsor and really speedy with getting your product out to you. I haven't bought OPK's from them, only preseed as I have quite a lot of OPKs that I bought through ebay a few months ago.

It is so remarkable that I have got such wonderful support from people all over the world. I just had a major meltdown this morning because I know I have to go work tomarrow and all I want to do is stay home in bed under the covers and wish this all away. I just know that around Christmas time, someone I know is going to announce a pregnancy and I am going to be so jealous because that was supposed to be us!! I know a couple of my friends that are TTC and I know that they deserve it just as much but how am I going react to them? I had such a good outlook yesterday and now today I am just down in the dumps. I already had a major cry and feel like I need another 1. I know we will be okay but I just hate feeling like I'm back having feelings like we did after we lost Dawson. I just feel like my hope has been smushed yet again. Sorry for the rant but I know you all understand the emotions I'm going through. All I wanted was 1 more child. Is that too much to ask? Why does this have to be so hard? Thanks for listening!

    Morning girls.
Missy i hope you are feeling a bit better today.. don't know what to say :hugs: we are all here for you..

i feel a little guilty posting this, I have been feeling really off since I O'd and have had very similar symptoms as my pg before the m/c.. today i caved in at 10 DPO and tested.. it was a very faint (but there enough to see in half light) positive.
i don't want to get too excited because I don't want to jinx myself like last time.. I'm scared and nervous. I'll tell my parents and DH's mum when she comes down from QLD this weekend but thats it. I'm not telling anyone else but you girls and my sister and my parents.. not until everything is ok. I'll retest Monday to make sure.. I feel really guilty because this has happened the cycle after the m/c.. (And we didn't wait to start trying again)..
Oh well- off to get ready for work. Will pop in tonight if I get a chance

    xx
