plc--Sorry your visit was so discouraging. I agree, I think especially someone in the medical field would be capable of a little more empathy and have the ability to encourage and support someone that's been through this type of trauma! Good luck on your BT, I'm sure you've got some nice high numbers by now! How have you been feeling? Any noticeable symptoms yet? Any thoughts about seeing a new dr?

    morning ladies

well i made it through the dreaded monday in one piece and now only 4 more days to the weekend...

hey ajc- sorry to hear you were down yesterday, hope today is better for you and good luck with the BT

jen- thanks for your encouragement. usually i can at least imagine some symptoms this early but this time- nothing! i think maybe deep down i know it is going to be a BFN so i am not letting myself get my hopes up. hey and you're so right- at least when AF arrives i can console myself with a pina colada or two!

plc- sorry to hear your doctor was so unsympathetic, i don't think they realise how important it is for them to give you some peace of mind sometimes...hopefully the ob you go to will be better then the gp. have you made an appt yet? good luck with your BT and let us know how you go.

to all of the other lovely ladies

    oh and some

lost & confused problem... a bit tmi

    Hi everyone...

AJC: thank you for your welcome! best wishes for you!

NicksterUK: payapa (or pawpaw is similar) is yellow/orange & sweet tropical fruit, about the size of a rockmelon. do they have papayas in the markets in UK?

Smilanatu: im a bit lost & confused today...

I dont know whether i've o'd or not!

i thought it was friday just past cos i noticed a tiny bit of gooey stuff (tinted red which i figured from the leftover d&c stuff) so dtd... then til sunday i noticed some more tiny goo but clear/whitish... maybe a little like ewcm but not sure... so then dtd sunday. but (sorry if tmi) when we dtd its like so dry down there its not funny, so it also feels like theres a barrier so it hurts dtd. Normally, before being pg, the cm will be like really gooey & icky but theres hardly any now! its been 2 weeks & nearly 4 days now. am i just too impatient? im normally not a horn bag but before when its that time i'd feel like it sometimes the whole day but not now... we've only dtd those 2 times... hd says he's too tired (prolly more scared!)

& since monday i've had these yellow discarges on my pantyliners! & my boobs have stopped aching. but i've noticed there's like a hardness achey thing on the left side of my pelvic area atm & sometimes something like a stitch when i move or stretch a certain way... has anyone been through these stuff before that can help me???

Did anyone experience any probs with dtd after d&c?

I went to the pathologies last night to get my bt for some diseases that you get before or during pg & i also tested for hcp, as i had the hcp levels tested before & during mc & had to have 3 done checking the levels & had one left so might as well do it & see what the level is at atm (hope that made sense)

    Please somebody help!

    Vanaithi -

Sometimes it does take a little longer for your body to heal after d&c. After my first d&c af didn't come for 6 weeks, so I guess I O'd around 4 weeks after d&c. After second d&c af came 4 weeks later so I must have O'd around 2 weeks after it (didn't temp that month so not sure if I O'd or not). We didn't really feel like dtd after the m/c's, I was pretty depressed so I mainly just needed lots of cuddles - but we all deal with it in different ways so dtd probably would have helped DH?!?!

Try not to get too stressed out about it. I started temping just because it gives you a much clearer picture of what stage of the cycle you are at. I have also recently found midstream opk's work well too.

Personally the whole cm confuses me more and more ever cycle. I can never tell where I am at according to cm. I do get a stentchy pulling feeling across my lower ab around O time, I asked my ob about it and he said it was good because it means your ovaries are working. As for the achy feeling you might just be a little tender down there from the d&c - if it persists maybe ask your doc?

    Good luck and here's another

Thanks AJC, I think Im going to try to relax now... whatever happens happens right.

i think i mean the achy feeling is the stretchy-pully one youre discribing... sort of pulsing or throbbing or something... oh well...

just looking forward to tomorrow when the bt results come back to make sure the hcp is outta my system.

    Goodluck to all!

vanaithi - I haven't experienced pulsing or throbbing in that area. Did you follow the post op instructions (no dtd for 2 weeks & no baths etc). I'm sure you did and all is fine, your body is probably just adjusting to not being pg anymore and hopefully preparing itself well for next pg which will go to term and you will have healthy bub!

I do actually get a really sharp shooting stitch type feeling when I do a big stretch, but I've always had that even before ttc. It might be something that's not related to ttc. Probably just another one of those 'unexplained' things in the ttc world!

I hope you bt comes back with 0 tomorrow - do you mean hcp or hcg?

Hi ladies - i have been lurking but not had good chance to post for one reason or another. At the moment i have a screaming kid at my feet so i am going to make this quicker than i would like. I got my results and it was 957 hcg. So i think that that is ok but i just don't feel anything which is really really concerning me. My doc was a lot more chirpy when i spoke to him on the phone so feel a little more encouraged to continue with him. Huge hello to you all - i think of you a lot and apologise profusely for the lack of personals (which is going against my nature at the moment!). Take care and babydust and sticky vibes to you all!!!

AJC - ur such a champ being there for the girls above when u were so down urself previously - good on ya girlfriend!!

    Hello Ladies

I have just spent the past half an hour writing a post and have lost it so here we go again.
I am not able to do personals at the moment as there is so much happening and i am having troule keeping up but i am lurking and checking on everyone.

Well i am 8 weeks and 4 days and have had my first ultrasound and everything was perfect. There was an extremely strong (first check 180bpm second check 164 bpm). I saw my doctor yesterday and already i have high blood pressure and they are keeping an eye on it as i had it with my daughter and ended up in Hospital about 4 times. I have been having dizzy spells as i am standing on my feet for 8 hours a day with a half an hour lunch and my boss refused to give me a chair. My doctor asked if i could reduce my shift so i went to talk to her about it and she basically told me that if i wanted to work there it had to be for a full day. So now i am unemployeed but with a healthy bub.

I want everyone to know that i am thinking about them and sending them plenty of

I hope you all don't mind that i am still here as i am to scared to move onto the PAML thread

OMG, I just clicked on the wrong button and just lost my whole post! I guess I'll give it a go again.... Grrrrrrrrr!

Vanaithi--Wish I could help you answer your questions, but unfortunately, It's pretty confusing for me, as well. Have you been to fertility friend to make a chart yet? It helps quite a bit in keeping track of where you are in your cycle at the moment. I've actually had some difficulties with my charting, but I don't temp, and I also can't tell any difference when I've attempted to check my cervical position--it always seems the same! lol... I also don't really ever check my CM, except for the one day last month when I had watery CM, and I realized I was O'ing. I know my chart would be much more accurate if I were temping, and many of the other women here do temp so I'm sure their charts are way more accurate. Good luck to you on your BT!

AJC--Hope things are well with you! All this charting talk got me checking out yours--looks like you BD'd at just the right times! Praying you get your BFP this month! Oh, btw, I agree with plc--it's not easy feeling so positive for others, when you've felt so down about your own situation! You're awesome!

plc--Hey mama! Great BT results! Glad to hear your doc is coming around! I'm counting down the days till your u/s!

Trac--Isn't it SO frustrating when you lose everything like that?!?! 8 1/2 weeks! :woot: SO relieved your u/s went so well and you got to see a strong Wow, so you quit your job? Good for you for sticking up for yourself and your little one! Now make sure you take it easy!! And of course we don't mind that you're still here--please stay! You're always welcome, even when you're 8 mo's!!

bettyboop--Sorry your cycle's so wacky--mine was that way, as well. It's very frustrating, isn't it? Looks like AF's due soon, right? After that, it's party time, eh? Good luck, hun!

smilanatu--Hey girl! Any signs yet, or is it still too early? I'm in a pretzel position--got everything crossed for you!

To all those in the I was going to switch over to the other thread to get everyone's name, but this is the point where I lost my post last time, so you all know who you are, and here's a little more

For all of us waiting for AF to pack her bags, lets hurry up and get this party started!

    Morning everyone

Trac - so fabulous that your scan went well. Shame your boss isn't very understanding, your healthy bub is most important so you look after yourself. You can visit in here as often as you like.

jen - thanks for looking at my chart - I guess it does look ok so far. Even if no BFP at the end of this cycle if I finish with +opk (check) and a longer LP (cross fingers) I'll be happy. And when/if af arrives this cycle, am going to take a leaf from your book and have a strawberry dacquiri.

bettyboop - your chart does look a little out of whack but they are not huge irratic jumps and drops so I'd say your body is just getting back to normal and preparing for next months BFP.

plc - glad to hear hcg was good. Lots of ladies don't get symptoms, a good friend of mine is about 30wks at the moment and she had no symptoms hardly at all in the first tri. Bub is just being gentle on you.

Hugs and babydust for everyone (and sticky vibes for the Mums to be)

Hi everybody! AF is still here, but I started taking clomid again today, so it all starts all over again!!!

jen805: woot woot for enjoying a coctail during nasty AF

Vanaithi: do you cross check temps with your cm? I highly recommend it because you get a clearer picture of what's happening with you. (cm is related to estrogen, temps are related to progesterone)

plc1805: hope your blood tests go well (because you get more than one, right?) *cross fingers*

    tina_k: sending cyberhug

Trac73: boo hiss to your evil boss. But I'm glad bubs is strong!

AJC-- you won't get to drink a strawberry daquiri any time soon, and also for your longer LP!

tempus-- :woot: You should have one, too, just since you can! Good luck with the clomid!

pbstar & tina k--- for you both! Hope you're both doing well!
