    Morning ladies!!!!!!!!!

Dory....how you going, i see you only have 1 day to go???

ATM.........Well is day 3 of no AF!!!!!! but still a BFN...i have been having what feels like period/ovary pains for the last week and half...i feel quiet wet so i keep checking and nothing..................so what is going on then?????? I am never late, and i always have a 28 day cycle and have always been regular..it just seems after the miscarriage everything has gone pear shaped.....i hope i am not going to have problems with my cycles now. I have a feeling that i geared up to o and it didnt happen then a week later it might have....maybe that could be causing it??? I have pregnancy symptoms but i did last time and i wasnt pregnant....god this is driving me up the wall....especially now if i am going to have cycle problems...

The dr said my tiredness could be due to depression from the miscarriage, and although i am upset etc...my tiredness doesnt feel like its coming from that...it feels like its something else...like a deficiency of some sort....he is going to check liver, thyroid, hormones etc etc...He said the more i stress about getting pregnant i could be causing myself not to o and have late period etc....( i feel like saying yeah thats real easy after a miscarriage i just wont stress) he didnt do a ptest or anything because he was busy and i was only in there for my mums app and he just happened to talk to me about it. Ill get a blood test friday i think...

Someone i know has passed away aswell, so i just feel so crap at the moment...and so emotional....

    Hi Ladies

Melster ~ I know this may not be what you want to hear but my cycles have been all up the putt since I had my m/c in April/March. My AF before last came on time and then the last one was all up the s*it again. So it may be your body still trying to adjust from the m/c hun. As time passes I think your system will get back to normal - hoping not too long. Im still for you though! I hope you have a nice little surprise with the BT results, GL

Forshelby ~ thanks hun, I think you're right. Id say the spotting is just my body not used to the pill ect ect. So hopefully it wont affect any of the IVF - shouldnt. I feel for you with the headaches as Im one of these people that gets hormonal migraines. I hope they disappear.

Clairesmummy ~ thanks hun for you kind wishes. Im sorry I dont really understand LP's at all but I hope you find some answers - perhaps from a new doc, GL!

Reet ~ As I said to Forshelby I think now the spotting might be just from the pill but I might ring my nurse and talk to her about it anyway. I dont think if its an early AF it would affect the IVF because I finish the pill soon anyway and start on the hormone injections. Thanks for asking and caring. Thats so sweet your DH gave you that ring and cute!Hope the yuck feeling goes.

Well Ill probably chat to you all when Im back from my week away at the show. Take care everyone and for those still TTC wishing you the best of luck!

    Short Luteal Phase.

Luna-- Thank you for coming out of the bushes and giving me your advice darl it is truly and greatly appreciated. The testing to check the thickness sounds scary, I was so petrified of having a D&C but thank goodness I never needed one, but I guess if that's what they have to do to find out what my problem is I will have to deal with it some way, just not sure how I will cope with that. I have my Dr appointment tomoro after lunch so I'm going to be as nervous as anything. Thank you again for your advice and please feel free to jump on in here at any time darl, don't be shy. Sending you lots of hugs to say thank you.

Clairesmummy - cycles can be rather erratic after coming off the pill. And you're right, a short LP can be a big problem. I'm not sure what can help to rectify that problem.... I think I heard B vitamins somewhere? I like the hot bath idea for a headache but I'd need to give it a good scrub first. I washed the dang dog in there and it's all fuzzy... hahahaha. Gross. Good luck at the drs tomorrow!

Melster - It's all so confusing, isn't it? I don't know what to tell you except to hang in there, and perhaps make a giant chocolate cake to drown your sorrows. You have every right to feel sad and stressed out. But we're all here to pick you up. Sorry to hear about the death in the family/circle of friends.

Reet - No, my pee is just fantastic, thanks for asking LOL. I've missed you! Never go mia again or I'll hunt you down, woman! I LOVE the anti-natal present, that's hilarious. A friend of mine once got a 'push present' something diamond laden after the birth of her first baby. DP says my push present IS the baby. True but a baby isn't as shiny.. lol

Luna - Hi! No need to be shy, hun. Feel free to join in anytime

Dory - You make so much sense! It is harder than I thought. My adopted Grandma (DP's grandma) asked me today how I'm finding it, and I said very lonely, and harder than I thought. She understood, having gone through it herself way back when she was first married. In those days the woman didn't work, and she said it was hard, so it was nice having her understanding. And I have been kind of hiding away from the world.. I just don't know what to do with myself. I feel guilty for wanting to go out and go shopping, or to a movie or whatever, so I do nothing. I wouldn't go as far to say I'm depressed, but I definitely think I'm having somewhat of an identity crisis. The guilt is the worst part. How did you get past feeling unworthy? I feel like what I do here (which isn't much because I feel down) is pretty menial, and doesn't really matter. Afterall the house didn't implode when I was at work all day..... I just feel like what I do isn't important, and I don't have the right to want things, or ask for things which require money. It's silly, I know... but I'm so used to being independant it's a real shock to the system. Enough about me though, HOORAYYYY for only 2 more sleeps! Can't wait, hun!!! Thanks as always for your great advice, you always make such sense.

Loops - Thanks, it helps to know I'm not the only one with a thumping headache. I had a coffee this morning and it seemed to clear it up so that might be my weapon of choice for now! Have fun on your adventure away at the show!

AFM - Eager to go to my appointment next week and hear bubby's heartbeat. That niggling fear is coming back and I keep what-ifing myself..... hoping all is well. Surely the little flutters would be enough to comfort me, but no, I manage to what-if those away too! I'm dying to have another scan to see how bubs has grown, but that's at least a month away at this point. *sigh*. Other than that, we've got a trip to Melbourne booked to go and visit DP's Grandma in a couple of weeks, so that's all very exciting. She's so excited, this will be her 6th great grandchild. Yes, she's a trooper... at 91 she's still got more energy than me. It's really nice to have her in my life especially with the loss of my own Grandma this year. I hope everyone is well and looking forward to hearing some more bfp news! Go team!

melster - as long as AF hasn't arrived i would say that's a positive sign (and the only real non-easily-misinterpreted sign anyways) so stay optimistic. the waiting is the worst though so not sure what else i can say. FX for you hon and sorry for your loss. hope you start feeling better soon.

clairesmummy - fingers, toes and eyes crossed for your search for a thorough doctor. i hope you find someone good who will throw everything at it (as you have done for the last 2 years). just keep your eyes on the prize (to use a sporting analogy (sorry)) and imagine how wonderful it will be when you are pregnant again

forshelby - give yourself some time (and then some more!) to adapt to your change in circumstances. it's a massive shift. i understand about the not being independent anymore, i took some time to get used to combining finances etc... but you will get used to it. don't feel guilty about seeing a movie or doing something fun... do it and enjoy it! can you set yourself some little fun projects so you feel like you're a bit productive ?? like gardening, craft, shopping to find that perfect piece of furniture/clothing for yourself/baby's room, ebaying some junk you have in the house, doing something for your DF (ask him if there's something you can do/buy/make for him), have lunch with friends (go meet them at their work and you will see how jealous they are of you - the grass is always greener LOL).

AFM - i'm just hanging out for my first US on Monday... waiting waiting... but feeling good. i started feeling nauseous last night and still do today and am so happy and proud of it haha... so strange !

Forshelby...i ate two mini muffins!!! YUM.....now i just feel lumpy LOL I know the scans were the best thing with my daughter...although now i am not sure what they will be like after the miscarriage.....i can understand you being a little worried..im sure everything will be ok tho.

Glenglen...thanks....im so glad you're feeling a little positive...

    Luna....come on here anytime!!!!!

ATM...still no af...trying to stay positive.....its not working real well ....i would just like an answer either way now..my impatience is getting to me...and my eyes are hurting from all the gooling i have been doing and the lack of work at my job LOL......i even checked my cervix becoming desperate for an answer..........which is low and hard which they say its like that before af...and pregnancy it is a bit higher....but then they say in pregnancy you're cervix can change when AF'sdue but it can also change throughout the first trimester so cant be relied on....so i am still here waiting.......and i am now having trouble laying down at night and relaxing...so so annoying.....

yeah we need some BFPS!!!! some happy news...

Glenglen - It's not so much a combining of finances as me having none to contribute to the pool. Kinda depressing. Also we really can't afford for me to be seeing movies and shopping etc as we've got a trip away in 2 weeks and need to put money away to cover the bills while DP is on holidays (he doesn't have paid leave). I have started ebaying some junk.. and that is sort of working, but I find it tedious and pretty boring. I also had lunch with the girls at work once but it just felt weird being there. Everyone said I looked a lot less stressed though since leaving that awful unfair dept I was in, so that was a plus. I think it's just going to take time, like you said. After this trip away to Melbourne we can start spending money on baby stuff. I've opted not to get anything big until 20weeks or so. As the irish would say, to be sure to be sure. Good luck for your u/s on Monday, and nausea is a great sign. I just wish mine would go away now, LOL but I do remember being slightly excited about it. Oh the things we get excited about hehehe.

Melster - Now I want a muffin. Or something cakey. Mmm.... cakey/muffiny goodness. FX you get your answer very soon!

AFM - heartburn. Ouch. I feel like I've drunk a fizzy drink while dangling upside down. Not that I've ever tried that but it's probably the best way to explain how I feel right now!

    Hello ladies..
Sorry I haven't contributed in ages. I have been reading though.
I was feeling a little 'afraid' of the whole TTC thing so decided to put it all out of my mind and not focus on it. I am feeling a little better and more 'ready' now... Although, DH has started working away so it may be a little difficult to catch the eggy at that all important moment! I am on CD12 and DH is away til Friday evening so I don't know what our chances are!
I got AF a week early last month so I think my body is still recovering from the d&c.
I wanted to wish Dory all the best for tomorrow. Like everyone I too can't wait to hear the news!
Have a good evening girls xx

Sorry if I have missed anybody but I hope you are all safe and healthy and enjoying the wet weather if you are getting any of it that is, me I'm over it and want my warm sunny days back please.....lol
AFM- Well I have made my DR appointment and it's today at 1:40pm, I'm nervous, I'm scared poo less and hoping I can get it all out there and she will listen to me and take me seriously. I have my cycle charts ready at the door and wishing DF gets off work early today and can come in with me to hold my hand. I am so so so scared right now about what they will find and what they will want to do and test, but I guess it's better to get answers than live in no mans land and have no clue. So that's what's happening with me today girls so I've got my FX and saying my prayers that we can sort our problems out and get our long awaited BFP before Xmas would be wonderful.......

Kell- Haven't got any any answers yet darl, but hopefully will have some in a couple of weeks time, FX. I have to go back in on CD19 for BTs, she's going to do a full hormone check as well as thyroids, so that's happening on the 5th of October and I get the results back a couple of days later. DR said she wants to make sure I am O'ing if not she is going to prescribe some tablets for me to make me O, then she said that if my BTs come back all good we will be sent over for DF to have his swimmers checked then if they come back all good they will do a test on me by putting some dye inside me to see if my tubes are blocked in any way. She doesn't seem to think DFs swimmers should be a problem she's more inclined to think I have a hormone problem and she wants to get to the bottom of whatever it is asap, so that made me feel so much better knowing that I now have a DR that is listening to me and wanting to help me. So now I'm just hanging out till CD19, but I did get some Vitamin B6 today to start taking tonight and hoping that will help my short LP problem and DR said to give it a go if it helps that's great she said and she also wants me to keep taking my folic acid tablets so I will start rattling when I walk soon......lol.....
Good Luck tomoro darl for your scan I will be waiting to hear how you go, I'm sure everything will be great for you and you will get to see a healthy little bub in there.
