I'm back on line! Sorry I have been away so long. Got my stitch put in last Friday and all went well. My OB kept me in until Monday on IV antibiotic drips to ensure no nasties were lurking in my system that could cause any problems and have been on couch rest all this week. He is also keeping me on oral antibiotics for 5 days every month for risk of infection - I think it's the same infection JAS was talking about in an earlier thread.
So, am on a progesterone pessary a day, antibiotics 5 days every month plus I have my stitch - surely this little one will make it to my due date right? Oh how I am praying
Jo, how did you feel after the stitch was in? I don't feel anything stitch-like "down there" but I do feel a little pressure and pain at times. Normal or not?
Dee, I am so very sorry to for your BFN this month my sweets. Lets pray that your last little embie is the one. Enjoy special together time with DH until you're ready again. We'll all be here cheering you on.
Blessedatlast, welcome to the thread and I am so very sorry for the loss of your precious babies. I hope your time with us is short and you get your earth baby very soon.
Cindee, I was actually thinking of you the other day wondering how you and little Miranda were going. So happy to hear she is doing so well.
Megan, I've got my fingers crossed for you also that this is your month hun.
mummabec, it is so upsetting when others don't acknowledge our angel babies. I had so many spats at my family for not talking about him and just expecting me to be "over it" and that's why I thank God everyday for this forum as it is a place where we can all understand and relate and hug. I am sorry you are feeling so down hun It's hard and takes so much strength and time.
Beata, we are on the count-down my darling! I hope you are resting up and taking good care of yourself for your transfer in a few weeks. I can't wait to celebrate your BFP with you. You have been a tower of strength and enouragement and now it's your turn dear friend
Jo, Rozzie and Tildy, hope motherhood is treating you well and babies are growing beautifully.
Helen and Sue, can't wait to meet your little ones!
TTC-ers, sending an enormous amount of baby dust to you all.
Dee, I am sorry to see your BFN. I hope your next cycle brings you better news.
Diana I have been watching out for your news about how the stitch placement went & so happy to see it went well! Your ob sounds sooo thorough; how great to have all that support. Yep, this baby will be in your arms safe and sound before you know it
As for how I felt after the stitch went in, I never felt the stitch as such but I did have some cramping and pressure for about a week after. I just had to check my diary for you - funny how quickly you forget!
Nothing much to report here. My girl is nearly 6 weeks old, can you believe it?! We have a sort-of routine (very much "sort-of"!) & I am still in awe that we created this perfect little girl. How I wish I could have had these moments with her big brother...
Hope you are all doing well. Helen, you must be due very soon?! Will your stitch come out while you are having the c/s?
Hi everybody!
Diana I am so glad your stitch went in well! Jo and I are proof that you will have your little bubba in your arms!
Well our little man, Mitchell Riley came into the world a little earlier than expected last Wednesday, my waters started to trickle at 6.20am, it was horrible weather here in Bris and DH was home from work so in some ways it was perfect timing! But not so perfect for him,I got out yesterday but had to leave him there as he is still having some issues with his breathing. Hopefully mid week he will be home, Corey was the same accept I didn't have to leave him he sorted himself out in the nick of time! So in answer to your question Jo, yes the stitch came out with the section no worries! So at the moment everything is a cycle of expressing, hospital visits, and trying to sort out a very hyped up 2 yr old! Not to mention trying to recover!
That's about all I have time for now!
Helen
