Talking. Welster is like his Mam and never shuts up! He has only made two mistakes so far: one was telling me "dog meow" (or rather "dog *strangled cat noise*") and the other was saying "nooo, nooo, nooo" to a yoghurt that he wanted. He babbles away like mad and has about 30-ish words. Mam, Da, dog, woof, cat, meow, duck, quack, ja, nooo, danke, fat (he points at the caterpillar when he's not hungry any more... and he's not a little caterpillar any more, he's a big... FAT caterpillar... why does that have to be the word he picks up from that book?), num-nums for food, nink for drink, gamma and gamba for his grandparents... and quite a few more just randomly. He is doing sentences too. Yesterday he told me "fahv an huhree... ayat" (five and three... eight); I know that five and three was because Five and Three (the Numberjacks) were on the TV but eight? Can he add up that high? I've only done adding up up to five, but counting to ten so far. Maybe it was "five and three out" because they were out solving the problem with the Puzzler. Anyway. If you listen he will tell you all about the world, it's pretty fantastic.

He is LOVING his Nursery so much and they love him too - and he talks SO MUCH after Nursery to tell me all about his day. He demands to go and play with the big children quite a lot so ends up joining in with what the children 2-3 times his age are doing. Except messy play, which he HATES. He hates mud, he hates dirty things... in fact, he cleans up after DH! Genius boy.

today i got to meet kymmmmmmmmy and monkey and monkey is so so so cute! and kymmmmmmy is awesome i wish she lived in brisbane
monkey is so clever and polite! jemima says please but just coz she wants something and knows she has to but monkey is full on a polite little girl!! kymmy bought her a dory doll (that is dorothy) and way afterwards when we left the shop monkey was like "thank you mummy"

it has been so awesome that in the last 2 weeks or so i have met kymmy, monkey, jayney, claudia & jess, Kristy AND erin
and i met tashie and tobi i THINK in november but then just got a webcam so feel like i live near tashie coz we can talk on the computer and now LISA when are you coming to visit??? you all know me I MUST collect the whole set and you are the only one in the bellybelly feb 07 group that i have not met! hehehehehe

where do you live perhaps when i go and visit tashie and kymmy i will drive down and visit you on the way! did you get your tupperware????


it has been good too for me to meet kymmy and jayney and have them see jemima in real life and see that she is well.... full on...... today kymmy got to hear the screaming... it is not naughty screaming it is just frustrated i want to talk so bad but cant screaming.... poor jayney got to see the naughty screaming............. but anyway it has helped my self esteem heaps to see that jemima IS a little more fullon then some of the other girls and i am not THAT crap of a mother..... however you could argue that for her to get so "full on" couldhave been perhaps because of crap parenting on my part who knows

she is asleep now so i may go and try and get a nap in
then i am going to the daycare centre to see what is happening with my tupperware fundraiser..... nothing it seems.... not cool

oh and ryn it seems i now have to wait until 2011 but i will be going to egypt and greece and maybe uk so i will call in and see you then or you can meet us in greece or something??? (i still may go late 2009 early 2010 but my brother has always wanted to do egypt and is doing medicine in melb so wont have money or chance til 2011..... hmmm and if i am pregnant now 2009/2010 would be travelling with a 7ish month old and 13 months i think (with walking child) was perfect age to travel so would postpone for that too.........) (but if not pregnant will wait and see)

Hi Kel Sorry hun... I have been meaning to get in contact with you to let you know that I did receive my tupperware, but I have been having probs with my email... no idea what is going on there! And not only that... I have been having some little issues with my computer, it has been so slow! I tried to upload some pics to facebook last night and I had to do them each 3 times to get them to work! Bit of a PITA really.
Oh, if you're ever in Newcastle, let me know and we'll definitely catch up... or if you're ever planning a trip to Sydney, let me know too because Sydney isn't too far from here (about 3hrs)... if we're ever planning a trip up that way, I'll let you know for sure!

I had a fab weekend It was a party for my nephew Taj's 2nd birthday! I got to catch up with loads of my family... everyone loved Harrison, but you can't blame them 'cause he is gorgeous! He had a ball of a time because there were loads of little ones around his age and a jumping castle!
Anyway... I have some typing to do... So I will catch up and do some personals as soon as possible.

RYN _ Great to see you back! We have always been here, we just get smaller & smaller as well! How is Liebs going? Is Nursery like daycare? Sounds like he has a great time there. Are you back at work now? Full time or part time? I have just gone back to work 1 day per week, it's super flexible & super great for me to spend time with adults!

KEL _ YOu will never believe it, Claudy can now say "YES"! It's so awesome to hear yes instead of no all the time! I love it! She says it all enthusiastic as well which is awesome. YEP! I will vouch for Jem's temper! She certainly has one of those! But the finger sucking is really, really cute, so that makes it ok! Is she still sleeping 24 hours per day?

KRISTY _ How are you guys going? How is the Bump? Hey, what did you end up doing with the pram? I hope you're all good, I can't wait for you to pop so I can cuddle a new bubba!

ME _ All good here, except we are all still coughing & sniffling a lot. Claudy is at the real clown stage where she does stupid things to make us laugh. At the moment she does these stupid walks where she crouches down like a duck & walks across the room. Jessica isn't the best, she has been off colour for a few weeks now, one minute she is good & the next she isn't. She has been having an afternoon sleep though which I am loving!

Kel, Danke is German for thank you. It's easier to say, for DS anyway. He's getting the hang of "please" too. 2011 - that's 3 years away, I'll be teaching by then! So school holidays only! But I'd love to meet you, how exciting. I bet Liebling and Jemima will love each other too. Greece may be do-able, I was planning on doing that around 2015 if DS is an only one, but we can do it again/earlier. I'd like to do Egypt properly so that may be another option if you miss out the UK.

Lisa, good to hear your computer is OK now and bless Harrison, I bet he loved the bouncy castle if he's anything like Liebs.

Jayne, yes, nursery is day care but guess what? The government regulate it and DS has to be monitored and they need a development plan for him... what the? He's happy, that's all I care about. I'm supposed to teach him letters and numbers and table manners and words and stuff. Actually, Nursery have been great for getting him to improve with a knife and fork. But as far as I'm concerned he is going to learn anyway because it's a good environment, I don't want him assessed. He's too young! He's the only one there today so that will be great for him. Or he was at 8.10 this morning, there are usually about 4-5 other children there by then. How are you finding being back at work? I'm doing 20 hours a week, have done for the last six months, but full time in January teacher training. Once I do a bit of observation in schools, but that's all I have to do. 18 months later I can teach Chemistry AND Biology to A-level, which is cool.

As for us - I only thought the second canine was through before - I could see it all white, but it broke through in the small hours this morning. DS has been really grumpy with it, but we take him out to feed the ducks. Well, he feeds himself and quacks, must be pretending to be a duck. He loves birds - they're all ducks apart from a Little Owl, which is an owl - other breeds of owls are "ducks" too - and loves to chase them too. So cute to watch!

Hi My lovelies,

Juist got home from Mum's for dinner which was lovely as hubby is on night shift so now Erin is in bed so am looking forward to a night of Tv and relaxing as I got all my housework and ironing done yesterday and today, Yay for me!!!!

Had a Ob appt yesterday and all is looking good for bub, he/she looks like they will weigh a bit more then Erin around 7 1/2 pd is her prediction. I said as long as the head is a normal size that is all that matters!!!!! 6 weeks to go girls!!!

Bought a great pram off Ebay that looks brand new it is a stroller type but the back seat lies all the way back and the front seat reclines as well and both have there own shades over them . Quite narrow as well and got it for $76.00 bargain!!! Think it may be a bit easier to handle then the toddler seat and much easier to get either of them in or out. Can;t beleive Erin will be my BIG girl in a couple of weeks. Hubby being the parnoid Police officer that he is has read all the crash statistics and found the safest booster seat for Erin which they can weigh from 10kg - 26kg in. I laugh at him as he is so easy going and laid back but when it comes to safety he is the Guru. I know he has been to so many fatals and went to one where a baby went through a windscreen so I guess him being a bit over cautious is understandable.

RYN - Welcome back !! Jayne, Kel and I were only talking about you when Kel was over wondering where you had got to. Sounds like Leibs is doing great with his talking. Erin talks constantly but in another foreign language I think!!! Great about your teaching as well!!
LISA - Saw the party pictures on facebook looks like a great time was had by all!
KEL - It was awesome to meet you and Jem felt liek we had known you for ages. Great that you could Meet Kymmy. Jayne and I will have to try and meet Sally to seems she is another Perth girl.
JAYNE - My offical due date is 7th October have got 2 more appt s with the midwife and next Ob appt is the 6th October as she is away for 4 weeks. How are your tiles? Did he seal them as well or did Allan do that? Thanks for the number for him. Did Allan end up going to the Olynpic closing ceremony???

Well girls the new adoption show is about to start so better make myself a cuppa and settle in for the night . Dh isn't home now till 7am so can take up the whole bed as well!!!!

KRISTY - LOL I don't know what you will be like watching the find my family show, being a pregnant woman with all those raging hormones but I was a blubbering mess! It's just so sad how families are destroyed. Was nice to see some getting back into shape! Alan sealed the grout for me, the company who cleaned it wouldn't even give me a price on it because it's such a BIG & fiddly job, hand painting it all. Alan stayed up late & did it, bless his heart. No, he didn't get to the closing ceremony but he did see some of the hockey games. He got sooooooo trashed watching it that he left his suitcase behind when he flew back home! I wasn't amused. He has it back now, so that is good.

RYN _ OH wow, the nursery sounds great & even better that Liebs loves it so much. HOw many days per week is he going? Jess just started daycare back in May to prepare her for Kindy next year & she is loving it & making lots of nice little friends who will be in her Kindy class next year. It's also teaching her loads of stuff, especially social interaction. I plan on putting Claudy in one day per week next year when Jess is at Kindy so I have a day to myself! I can't wait for that to happen! I am totally loving work. The kids go to my mum's place which is literally down the road from work & I can see her roof from my office windows so that's pretty awesome. It's just weird because my assistant is now my boss! Very hard to get my head around, but that is life.

KEL _ OH I love that Jem has her own little Shai. I hope you call it Shai & not just Bunny! Shai won some more awards over the weekend, she is a superstar! I can't believe how many of these baby buddies you have met! That is awesome but you seriously MUST think I am the best??? LOL

KEL _ Seriously, honey, if that girl is still sleeping like a newborn, you need to go get her checked. It's not right, I can understand while she had that cough/cold thing happening to be sleeping a lot, but not now if she is getting better. It just doesn't seem right.

ME _ Yes, my girls are BEAUTIFUL! Even I had to admit. I took Claudy out to the shops today & there was this beautiful little party dress at Best & Less & I held it up saying 'do you like this Claudy?' & she went ape over it & going 'wowowowowoweeeee' with it. Well then she had to get OUT the pram & walk around the shop showing everybody her new dress. It was so cute! I also realised that she can count to 3. I never took much notice of what she is saying but she is saying 'one, two, THREEEEEE'. Very clever indeedy. Jess is at daycare today, when we arrived they had the craft table happening so she was like 'see ya later mum'. It was bliss!

she still has snot happening but i am used to that.... next week i am taking her to hearing specialist as doc concerned about her balance and hearing - so that will be interesting......

blood test tomorrow morning about lack of AF - my friend has to get blood tests for something else so we are going together - very weird but very cool

cute and embarrassing - today i had friend and her mum over for brunch, jemima comes out of my room with teddy in one hand,one of my high heels on and a pad in the other hand! too cute - she has been getting into my wardrobe where i have all my girly things stashed (coz i dont need them) and she tries to put them on teddy like a nappy!

i dont remember if i posted this or not - my sharing caring girl gave Kymnmmmy my housekeys! kymmy phoned me later tuesday arvo and asked me if they were my keys she had in monkey's nappy bag!!!!!!!!

She tried to add me and I denied her... then my sister denied her (because she doesn't know her, yet she tried to add my sister) and my BIL cancelled his facebook, so she accused me of having an "ugly influence on nice people"
Urgh... mine and her friendship fizzled out years ago... I just decided to not bother anymore when I was pregnant with Harrison and she was a PITA. I am sure you all know the type of person I am talking about... a high maintence friend (she was a skanky friend too, who was trying to get together with her BIL whilst still with her DH... sooooo different to the type of person I am) anyway, she just can't accept that our friendship is over and that I am happy without her drama in my life.
I think it is all over with now though... I am changing more of my privacy settings on facebook though so that should stop any more annoying people getting through... but unfortunately, it also stops the nice people getting through also.
Ahhhhhh... it's kinda good getting all of that off my chest!

Hello! How is everyone, sorry I've been MIA...

We've had a reall good week, and a busy one at that! On Tuesday we had my Great Uncles Funeral, he passed away at age 86, it was a lovely service and i'd be quite happy to have a similar thing done for me, not too fancy just nice and relaxed. Wednesday I went to the Dowerin field days we got rained on but otherwise a good day considering it's all about farming and mens stuff!! Thursday PMH (childrens hospy) rang and they've booked us in for Mon 8/9! to get his tongue tie fixed wooohoooooooooo! We've been waiting for months for this day to arrive! And Friday... the best news ever....(what could possibly be better than thursday's news...???) CHN Check!

So here's our update for 18 months old...

Brendan has yet to say his first word, but he is learning self feeding and is able to eat using a spoon or a spork. He isn't able to use the spoon/spork to get the food out of the bowl... but we will get there. We've had his OT assessment and Brendan is doing a lot of things he wasn't before we went, so I'm plaesed with the results. Although there are some things he is yet to achieve of which are meant to be achieved by 12 months. He will get there! So here we are finally at his stats:

Last weigh @ 16 months 27/6
W: 9660gms
L: 76cms
HC: 47cms

THIS WEIGH @18 months 29/8
HC: 47.5cms (+0.5)
L: 80cms (+4)
W: 10.? kg!!!! (+ min of 340gms!!!!!!!)

Unfortunately due to wriggle pot, we could not get an accurate
reading, the scales went between 10.0 and 10.2kg!!!!!

While we were in the CHN office I asked about Brendan's snoring, and she is going to get back to me with who we have to go see to get it checked out. Brendan is quite loud and sometimes struggles to breathe... i'm fearing that he has Sleep Apnoea, as it can be heriditary and my dad has it. So hopefully we can get it looked at soon!
