hi all....
just a quick pop in.
the boys are doing great. a little unsettled tonight but after a bath, a massage and a bit more boobie they have gone off to sleep and i hope they will stay there till at least 2 am.
Feeding in theory should be going well. they get lots of milk but never seem satisfied. even if i give EBM in a bottle they are still hungry, so i think its the milk not that they din't get enough. if they have formula they are quite happy, is it possible that breast milk isn't filling them? i will have to ask the clinic nurse next monday. it just makes it a bit tough.
and i feel bad tonight, they both have their knobs chopped tomorrow. its not all that painful tho, ike only cried with the anaceptic. he didn't even need panadol that night. but i still feel bad for them.
shereejoy i think our babies are still too young for technique's to control bed time rutines. if mine is restless then i go for a bath and massage and also i feed them a full belly makes everyone sleepy. i started to control cry isaac when he was about 6 months but to be honest i think 3-4 months is better. now he just about puts himself to bed. also i would just let bubs lie in bed awake they all drift off eventually, and making sure they are wrapped tight helps too.
and don't worry too much about little riley. our medical system is one of the best in the world and he will be looked after. and dont go thinking it was you. these things happen to everyone the good the bad and the ugly. don't worry he will be fine.
sebastian had an ultrasound to check for hip dysplacia. it seems it is a litle loose but we will do another US in a few weeks and hopefully it would have fixed itself. Caleb has a sucking problem too, he cant control his tongue, we should get that checked out too.
i should get an early night
Take care
love kristy
