Yep... dry pailing saves water too but using the bath water is an EXCELLENT idea.

I also store my bucket/bin on the laundry bench top when my babies are mobile.

Also buy the Drive or Omo in bulk ie 12kg and upward size boxes... workds out to be under $3 a kilo if you buy it on special... the cheapest i've got them was $2.40 per kilo at K-Mart last time they had them on sale. I never buy laundry powder from the supermarket anymore.... waaay too expensive in those tiny little boxes that would last our family about 1 week... a 12kg bucket or box seems to last us about 6-7 months.
