yay! Permission to gush, woo-hoo!
Is THAT the twinkle? Is it an Irish tinkle he has? Makes sense now I wonder if he can claim Irish citizenship because I have already claimed it? Or would I need to be a resident? I'll look into that. DP HATES the idea of dual citizenship (but he thinks too much, hee, hee!), but I will look into it. If you can do it, it's a nice way to honour your background.
Anyway, he is still asleep and he's missed the boat for a feed before our swimming lesson, so I hope he stays asleep for another 10 mins until I do a last minute nappy change and shove him into the car.
I have got to start baking...you girls are making me salivate.
Bath - what a shame about the terms of the trip! Queenstown is just fabulous - wake up to the Remarkables and realise you've never been so awed first thing in the morning. However, if you can't swing it for this trip and the required modifications, try to get there another time - even if it's later when you can leave Niall and you and DH go alone to celebrate an anniversary or something OR hire a campervan and bring the kids to tour the South Island (and NI if you have time, but I would prioritise the SI).
OK, brushing teeth and changing out of ugg boots into thongs then changing boy...
ETA: Cody sounds like a munchkin! My gush - I can't stop telling DP how much of an angel Oscar is when Oscar is gently wheezing away next to me (he sleeps on my other side so that DP can snuggle me, I'm a sook!). And when he wakes he stares into my eyes, gives me the creamiest smile and is starting to get more of a laugh happening (you'd laugh too if you saw me first thing in the morning). Yep, hands are doing more and he is even starting to pat Odin - and not just accidentally brushing his face as he waves his hands about aimlessly...a REAL pat!
