Neeny: yeah Wagamama is great... I went there when I was in London... love it... I need to try out the one here in Melbourne... DH went there recently... so jealous of his lunches...he gets to eat at a restuarant several times a week while I lunch on toasted cheese sangers OR a tuna tin (having both would be too indulgent LOL) I've made a very yummy pumpkin soup today seeing as it's so cold... as well as pumpkin it has fresh ginger, coconut milk, tomato, garlic etc... very warming and Wade loves it... plus it was cheap to make. Y'know my budget cooking habits are so ingrained now that even if we find it very comfortable on DH's higher wage I still won't be able to "splash out" and have the kinda lunches I'd REALLY like to have eg avocado salads with hmmm a bit of smoked chicken. Even buying handrolls when we go out seems indulgent... BTW they are a great non-gluten lunch idea Neeny; do you like nori rolls? They aren't too hard to make at home either and you can buy all the ingredients at Coles these days.
Speaking of Coles I haven't been totally honest with you girls: DH and i haven't been speaking lately and last night i had a meltdown and at 9.40pm I stormed out of the house saying that it wasn't fair that on a Friday night everyone was settling down to bed and I was left up AGAIN with Niall... so I said "I'M GOING OUT!" and I did, not having a clue where to LOL... didn't fancy going to anywhere to socialise so the only place I could think of was Coles ROFL... so I window shopped until about 10.40pm then sloooowly wandered the aisles of Coles perusing the shelves at my own leisure... it was great... discovered some products that I weren't aware they stocked etc... just bought a few items, not much... bought the Women's Weekly LOL... then walked home... covered about 5 km I reckon, round trip... it was midnight by the time I got home... everyone sleeping... so i snuck in unobserved and read my WW until Niall woke up... Heard DH tending to him (he didn't know I was home) he made a bottle and all... then fed him... and was in the process of rocking him back to sleep when i walked out and said I needed to give him a top up (I was engorged). DH's mood had improved... I fed Niall and we had a debrief about the angst. Anyhow... all's good now. DH is catching up on sleep now. I'm playing silly NeoPet's games LOL
