Wow, I haven't been on in ages and thankfully not too much to catch up on.
Jess - sorry to hear you are having more housing hassles. Hopefully you find your dream home soon.
Tali - tell MIL to mind her own business! Why do they think they can interfere in their kids lives? As others have said, its a decision for you and DH to make and she should keep opinions to herself. Bet she doesn't say anything directly to you about it. How is May going at school?
Nic - glad the christening went well apart from your little escape artist! Can't believe no one noticed him, they must have been having too much of a good time. Look forward to the pics, hope your family and friends took good ones.
Jaspen - not nice to still have m/s! You must be so over it? How is the rain, still going? Heard it has been pretty bad up north.
Amanda - twins, wow! I thought I was having twins when pregnant with Marley. Had bad dreams for weeks about it until first ultrasound. When is your first u/s?
Rory - similiar philosophy to Bath, don't push it, just go with it. Their attention span is zilch and can be so time consuming and frustrating waiting for them to say it. We have a big thing about manners in this house and everyone says "please" and thankyou" so the kids pick up on it. I wouldn't worry too much as they copy alot of what they see and that can be far easier than forcing them to say it. They are stubborn little things! Marley has thrown some ripper tantys over the smallest things.
Bath - I am not looking forward to the teenage years. We will be hitting you for advice when that time comes.
Ali - oh hang in there. I hope this phase settles and feeding starts becoming enjoyable again.
Well I am back at work 3 days now which started last week and so far so good. Kids are getting used to the routine and getting up a bit earlier. Chelsea is loving school and really likes going to either before or after school care. The teacher came for a home visit today which was great. Much easier to talk one on one at home than at the classroom with other parents all wanting to talk to her. The first thing Chelsea wanted to show her was her room LOL! She talked about how she is going in the classroom and I was very proud to hear her tell me what a lovely soul Chelsea is. Very kind natured and unphased by anything. She was also impressed with her lunchbox, saying how healthy and appetising her food looks. Wonder what other parents are packing that is so bad?
Marley had her first full 2 days at creche last week and that went great. She is loving the social aspect of it and is eating up a storm, 3 servings of mtea on Thursday! They are great with her allergy requirements, making her yummy alternatives if needed. She is getting the hang of sleeping in a bed, 1 hour the first day and 1.5 the second. Hopefully this week she will sleep even longer but she has come home very bright and chirpy. She even did her first drawing which is proudly on the fridge!
Must go and try to finish the rest of my washing, while the sun is shining!
