You don't mind cooking dinner do you, darling? Then leave with baby and car keys and find a nice coffee shop or bar, whichever takes your fancy.

Seriously though I do believe that we teach people how to treat us so maybe a bit of retraining is in order. A few of my friends are psuedo single mums because of their partners work/leisure activities and they tend to not be appreciated by their partners simply because they're not home often enough to see how much work running a family takes.
