Well I am home today with a whingy, clingy bub who won't have a nap like I want to!! Jess minded him while I went in for photos so of course he slept until 9.30! Then we took J to school and now he is wandering around whinging- its going to be a long day, I am so desperate for some sleep.

    Hugs Christine.

    Hi Rach.

Well everyone I worked this morning at our shop and am so buggered now.

I also organised a 3d scan for when I am 28 weeks. Whahoo.... Gathered I did it for Lachlan but his was the 18 week scan, ohhh well. They said it is better to have them done when bubs has more fat. I also asked if he could tell me whether my baby's cyst has gone or not and he said yes. He also reassured me that the cyst is nothing to worry about, whahhooo.... as I have done alot of research and come to the conclusion all will be ok, but it is always in the back of your mind. This guy (the senographer of all people spoke to me - which was so kind), has made my day!

tania - cute belly! Hope poor Jayden feels better soon and you all get to catch up on much needed sleep.

christine - hope Riley is better in the morning, something always happens to ruin school photos (not saying you ruined the photos)

sheree - so glad you are feeling relieveda bout Riley's cyst, or lack of, i have never seen a 3D scan in real life before must be an amazing thing to see.

Archie is sleeping again!!!! he even sleeps during the day, i have been bribing him with lollies, telling him he can have a lolly after he has a sleep, has worked 3 days in a row yay!

3D scans are amazing, we had one with Riley cause the place we went to has them so we didn't even have to go out of our way!

    Good boy Archie.

Glad someone is being good, Lachlan is being so ratty lately. Starting to wonder how I can cope with 2 boys and a business.

I just found out this arvo that my aunt is having a boy. Her first is a girl.

Also in my family, my sister and my cousin are having boys this year 2, after already having a girl as their first borns.

Is it wrong for me to feel jealous. I am not sure if that is the word "jealous", it is more that I feel like I am the only one that didn't get the pidgeon pair. I def want a healthy child and if it is a boy then so be it, it is just that there is so much jealousy in my family that I know if any of them hadn't have got the pidgeon pair there would be feelings expressed. Am I being selfish for feeling this way? Just feel like the odd one out really and with Lachlan being a right little horror atm, is not making me feel any better about it all! What have I got myself in for..... Two boys, how will I cope?

sheree - what youa re feeling atm is totally normal and justified, its not bad to feel that way at all. Only this arvo when i last posted i was thinking about Tania's bub and thinking how we all feel she will have a girl. I thought of you and thought, gosh Sheree must feel a bit hard done by not getting her longed for girl this time. I wanted a girl too and thought I'd be devastated if i had a boy, well i had a boy and i have never felt bad about it, took me a while to get my head around the idea and i do occasionally wonder what life would have been like if he were a girl, but honestly i could never imagine our family with a girl in it now. Of course you are thrilled to have a healthy baby and you will be thrilled when Riley is born, but i can totally understand your jealous feelings about not getting a girl this time. Just remind yourself that your 2 little boys are going to have SO much fun and mischeif together growing up so close, as brothers they are going to have very special times that a brother and sister might not have. you are not selfish for having these feelings either. you will cope with your 2 spwcial boys, i have no doubt they will run you ragged at times, but the joy they will bring will far outweigh the stress.

Thanks honey for your support. Lachlan has just been such a hard baby (as you know) and I just have always felt like - "why me"!!! But I guess we are only given what we can truely handle, just can't reason with that sometimes. Just hope this next bub isn't so hard, as I don't think I could do it all again, esp with owning a business these days. I think that is what makes it so hard - is this god dam business at times..... Just trying to juggle it all is so hard, and Lachlan is just being so hard lately and my patience level is just not holding out.

I do believe the rest of the family will be jealous of us sometime down the track as my boys will be such gr8 mates and I am sure boys are easier then girls as they get older, maybe I am just going thru my hard stages now, just feel like I am too old and intolerant sometimes.

I am happy for lachlan this bubba is a boy, I am just havin a downer about it all. If there weren't all my relatives that had girls and then a boy, esp after getting the 3rd lot of news 2nite this wouldn't have hit me so hard.

Just hard to see all this right now very clearly, tomorrow is a different day.

And for the record I would be pleased as punch if Tania has a girl, this is all just related to my family and the issues there have always been there........

I think for me if and when my aunt and uncle actually ring me and tell me (which they are pretty big headed at the best of times), I would feel like saying down the other end of the phone "Well aren't you lucky"!!!! This particular relative also use to rub into me how good an eater their daughter was and she would eat anything and I mean they wouldn't say it once/twice/three times, they just couldn't keep going on about it, and it really upset me, and I just thought once I said "think yourself lucky" that they would quit, but nope..... See where i am coming from......

Sheree- i understand exactly where you are coming from. When I found out erin was a girl, whilst I was happy there was still that sort of let down that it wasn't a boy. It's hard to explain but its like the world expects everyone to want to have both sexes. I must admit that with Riley i really didn't mind if he was a girl cause I was used to them and I thought well it'll be easy cause I am on a roll LOL
I am glad I have got to experience both sexes as its made me understand more about boys and helped with my teaching for sure, but it would've been OK to only have girls.
From everything i have heard boys are easier as teens, a fact which fills me with great rrelief cause Jess is FOUL!!!

sheree - sorry you are having a downer mate. Hope you are feeling a bit more positive today. i can't even begin to imagine how stressful life would be running a business, let alone being a mum to young children too! As ou said, we are never given anything that we can't handle, i tell myself this at times too. Grrr at your aunty and uncle for always reminding you that their child is "perfect" (you right!!), we had close friends who constantly did the same thing to us, they had to better us no matter what, needless to say we aren't friends anymore. You have ben through such a tough time with Lachlan and have been so strong and wonderful for him, he is a healthy beautiful little boy now because you have been such a great mother. You have had such a stressfu run with Lachlan that when Riley comes along everything will be a breeze, if you can handle the last couple of years you will handle Riley just fine, things will all fall into place after a while, in a few years time you will look back and think "how on earth did i get through those years?!" but you will get through them cause you're a mother! I am really rattling on now....

tania - yay at Jayden sleeping last night, feels so good doesn't it?!

sara - hi! I was beginning to wonder where you disappeared to, yay fr broadband, i am so sick of dial up now.

It said For those who want to know we are having a boy - the pidgeon pair!!! Ohhh seriously as if we didn't all know it was the pidgeon pair - DO YOU ALL SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!!! Drives me nuts!!!!
