dr couldn't see anything abnormal for someone who gave birth 8 weeks ago. She said by the sound of what i've described I may have a slight prolapse after doing a number two. She said to just push it back and make sure I do pelvic floor exercises lots. I was also told no DTD for at least another month but heavy petting is ok, just no intercourse.

    Hi girls,

Wow i am so behind in posting - been a busy few days. We had friends over for a bbq yesterday for Doni's birthday which was nice, ended up with 20 people over. Everyone brought their own meat and drink and just had to prepare a salad which was nice and easy and had lots of helpers to clean up as well. Thank god for garbage collection though, both bins are totally full.

Went to mums and bubs class today, and walked lots of hills etc which felt great. Also did some walks last week as well and plan to walk to and from the mothers group meeting this Wednesday (providing it doesn't rain of course). Decided to get DJ immunised tomorrow night instead of Thursday that way Doni is with me for it and can help me get him settled afterwards. Not sure how he will be but plan on giving him the childrens panadol before and after to help him with any pain.

Prama - hope you are feeling better, Ness said you weren't well. Wow Lakshman is almost 12 weeks old, that is fantastic and boy that has gone so quick DJ likes his rattle, starting to hold onto things as well. I have a Lamaze Spin and Explore Garden Gym thingy for tummy time, which I try to get him on a few times per week because he isn't fully ready for it yet...... otherwise I read to him, dance around, talk to him and also put on foxtel and watch some of the more educational type programs.

Trina - well done on the pilates equip, I am hoping to do a pilates class this week actually My back isn't what it used to be either, pregnancy has stuffed it up.

SJ - yes 'let down' and dripping has happened to me heaps, just ask Prama. After our mums and bubs class last week we were having coffee and my pads weren't fixed properly into my bra and I started to leak so had wet patches - too funny!!! Good to hear you had a nice catch-up with Jo and Caitlin did you take any pics?

Danni - hope the bleeding stops for you. Mine went away after 5.5 weeks thankfully but it is a pain having to wear those pads. I ended up getting liners because it was only light.

Backs - my back is bad as well, was vacumming the other day and my back was killing me!!! I don't think it will ever be the same again.

Teething - DJ is drooling heaps now as well, so maybe he is starting to teeth also. I will ask the community nurse tomorrow night when I get his immunisation done.

Birth certificate - still haven't received it - talk about slack hey???

Sorry for the short post but DJ is screaming for booby time!!!

    Hope everyone is well.

Shell - i made sure that Molly was due a feed for when we were having the immunisations, as soon as she had them i gave her a feed and that settled her straight away.
I didnt end up giving her any panadol at all, she wasnt in pain, just a bit more clingy than usual, i guess it was the immunisations making her feel different than usual, but no pain or fever - so no panadol needed. I think the ones when they are older are going to be so much worse.

Trina - hope your horse is OK, its awful when they pull up lame. So cute that the kids read to Summer.

Cathrine - i was put onto booby bibs by someone (was it you Prama or Jade??? cant rememeber) anyway i wear them to bed every night and thank god i do, lefty fills up twice as quick and now that she is sleeing nearly 8 hours it leaks like there is no tomorrow - the best investment ever. Glad you are feeling great - and yes it is a great site, i have been chatting to some of these girls since i was 16 week pg so we have done pretty much the whole pg together!

Regarding the backs - rememeber that our centre of gravity had to change when we were pg with all the extra weight, it took 9 months to change and we slowly adapted, now 2 mths or so down the track we are trying to do all the things that we did pre pg and havent given our backs enough time to get strong again - i was going to go to the local mums and bubs yoga, but it is on when i am down at Mum and Dads, and so i will have to find somewhere else to go... lots of walking now, i have decided that rain or shine i have to go for a walk 5 times a week!!!

Made 2 lasagnas today - feel good about that!

    have a great night

shell - yeah, im heaps better but didnt want to be out in the cold or pass my germs around.
ive got mothers group tomorrow, hoping to walk it's about 15 mins and uphill.
iwas going to text you but saw on the news that blacktown had all its services down after someone cut the cable, so wasnt sure if you'd get it.

we were told 8 weeks for birth cert, this our 8th week, so we better get it! we still have to get his passport done.

suddenly have a splitting headache. had some smoked salmon for starters, hehe, thats why this post has taken so long.

dont DH/Ps sing funny to bubs, steve goes at at the top of his voice 'lakshman is lucky boy, lucky boy' or lakshman has a wet ar$e, haha. the other day, after i woke up from my cold induced sleep, he was telling me how full his nappy was of poo. i think he was secretly very proud of his son of poo-ing so much!

All my girls had teething type symptoms but they came at normal time.

Still no birth cert here either, i sent it off 1st week too.

LOL Prama nice song from Steve hehehe DH talks to Summer in a high pitched baby voice and she looks at him and does the biggest smile i swear she is thinking you idiot why you talking like that? Enjoy the walk.

Re the back thing too, take notice of how you arch your back when you are holding your bub in front it really doesn't help but you can't help doing it.

SJ it is so hard getting motivated sometimes but enjoy the walking you feel great after

Yeah my poor horsey he has a really deep absys in his hoof in a bad spot and could be an infection in the bone (worst case) so has to have pain killers, and antibiotics and bandages changed every 2nd day, like i have time to spare. It must be so painful cos he cant even put his foot on the ground.

Trina - your poor horse that is terrible hope it gets better soon

SJ - hope we don't need the panadol and he is fine with needles. He was good when we got the newborn screening test done and had heel *****s done and just laid there and it didn't bother him so hopefully he will be right for his first immunisation. Well done on lasagna's!!!

Prama - hope you feel better sweetie and get plenty of rest whenever you can. It was a hard workout, lots of walking today. Was great though because it was such a nice day for it. I had coffee with one of the other girls from class - Fiona. It wasn't planned just happened to park next to her at Stanhope when I went to get baby panadol. Thinking I will try out that yoga class at Hills Yoga to see what its like on Friday, will let you know what I think.

    Have a great night girls

Paula I'm from Perth. No trouble getting birth cert either.

Taking Paddy for his needles today . Hopefully it's not going to end his good night sleep. For the past week he's been sleeping from about 830-930 til 530.It coincided with the use of a sleeping bag so maybe he was getting cold. My other two didn't do this till about 6 months. He must knowhe's got an old mummy who needs lots of sleep

I got Flynn's birth certificate today. I think it took 2 weeks, I kept forgetting to post it!! I was surprised that it came so fast with most of you saying 8 weeks!
My back is a bit crook too. Doesn't help bending over so much and picking up Flynn. Have any of you seen the article on here about callanetics? Apparently it's a bit like pilates. Little to no impact, great for toning, apparently you can even get your waist back. The lady who wrote the article on BB had back pain but these exercises have really helped her. She says minimum effort for maximum benefit (or something like that!) I'm going to give it a try. Sounds very interesting. I don't know how to put a link in sorry. But try googling callanetics

    Hey ladies!
My back is stuffed too, Noah is a very cuddly baby so he constantly wants to be held which doesn't do much for the issue! I had to book him in for his needles today so he is going on tuesday night because I'm geting DH to take him, I dont think I could cope with it if he cried!

Are we all looking forward to mothers day? Its my first one but unfortunately DH has to work so SIL and I have decided to go out for lunch, should be fun! Anyway, just wanted to check in, have a great day everyone!
