I'm back! Actually nearly didn't make it home. Got to airport after they'd closed the flight. Luckily they'd re-opened it for me. I had had enough of Townsville and wanted to be back with my boys (sorry Rebecca - IK you love the place). DH did a great job keeping everything ticking along. He's clocked off now so I will be doing the night shift. I figure I owe him.

Oh, and it was so good to see L's face when he saw me. He was so happy and excited and recognised me. I missed him so much and I swear he's grown.

Terri- I found that I needed to trust my instincts when it came to choosing daycare. Eventho L's daycare centre needs a paint job the staff and Director are really great and everytime I spoke with them when I was looking I always got good feelings. Have you looked into family daycare? There are a number of providers out your way. L has certainly developed heaps since he's been in daycare and has done things like painting and craft since he has been going: things I wouldn't have thought of doing with him.
Mo - it seems like you have been pg forever already and you're not even out of the first tri.
Rebecca - Great memory. We were up there at new years. I used to live there and hadn't been back for 20 years and then twice in less than a year.
I think Heinz do a white sauce for babies. I'll hunt down some recipes for you and PM them. I think you might be able to freeze them and then just defrost or put them into the m'wave. Honestly I think it comes down to being organised, knowing at breakfast what you're going to give her at dinner. Thats what works for me, both for L's meals and ours.
Are you feeling any better?
Trish - K is certainly making up for his slow start.
Amber/Ange - see you on Sunday.
Milk - I was reading somewhere (here?) that its okay to cook with milk as heat changes it as is not the same as cold milk.

Daycare report that L was waving today! He does these involuntary waves so will need to test if he can do them on purpose.
