Ah! speak of the devil Roast lamb sounds sooo yummy Noni. All we have in our deep freeze ATM is dogmeat and a few pork leg chops. FIL is going to have to do us some more sheep because its a sad state of affairs when you don't even have a roast in the freezer LOL.

You can just call me Little Miss Chatterbox thanks Pregpan! I don't talk THAT MUCH do I??

Another osteo visit today, we're going back in two more weeks for the last treatment woohoo! It seems to have worked, even though we've had a few rough nights, nothing like before. E looks more comfy in her cot. Also had to drag H up to the dr for an infected finger *sigh*. I told her to put some ointment on her rash but instead she scratched it so now I'm up for the doctor's fees plus a tube of bactroban. A least she's been pretty healthy so far this year!

Well I've read all your posts but absolutely nothing has stuck in my head except for cheeky Katie waiting for mummy and daddy to peek in the door LOL. Just gorgeous.

Elisabeth stands up in her cot now and bounces up and down on the mattress - just like her sister did. Lucky for me it's so entertaining I can get up and have a shower when she wakes up and then go in there and she's still happy!

Elisabeth's best toy right now is the unopened 18-can box of softdrinks on my kitchen floor. It's just the right height for holding onto when you stand up AND it makes a soft tinking noise when you hit it! LOL I wanted to get a can out yesterday to put in the fridge but didn't cos she's having such a good time with it!

Sherie, I'm with you - can't wait for the sales. I have some Myers-Coles gift vouchers burning a hole in my pocket, I might get myself a mix master so I never have to rub butter through flour ever ever again!

Katie, thanks for the tip re Target sale, but I'm in a foul mood with them after they told me the pay 1c for the 3rd toy thing was over and you guys were all still buying toys! It's not like Elisabeth has more than enough toys now, is it???? LOL

BTW Gracie, meant to say I second everyone's advice re the fess spray/drops and Vicks baby balsalm. Although we also use Dimetapp cos the girls in this family have crummy eustacian tubes so it usually goes like this - head cold then earinfection/throat infection/conjunctivitis. The dimetapp keeps it at just a head cold. I've been stocking up before you can't get it without a script anymore (1 Sept).

Noni, yay for Asha crawling - how exciting !! We had the same prob with heaters with DD1, we just taught her "HOT!" and "NO!" and she got the idea pretty quickly.

LOL at Miss E being so entertained by bouncing in her cot - whatever gives you enough time to have a shower is a winner in my book. I don't have any vouchers (spent them all at the post christmas sales LOL) but I need new linen for all our beds.

We haven't had a problem with the heater in the bathroom, the first time he came in when it was on he got just close enough so he could feel the heat on his face and he dropped the bottom lip and moved away from it. Mind you he was still about 50-60cm away, it just throws out a lot of heat. So he hasn't been near it since which is great - the other kids we were constantly telling them not to go near it.

No offence taken Pregpan. I dooo so try to not hog the conversation! LOL We'll find out who talks more when we finally get together for a coffee, won't we !

Sherie - oh, new bed linen, how Noice! I'm hankering for a new quilt cover (the old ones are faded and drear) but i can't buy one when I have the fabric in the cupboard for a proper patchwork quilt, it'll only take me about 300 hours to sew it! LOL

Marydean, I really admire people who have the patience to sit and sew a patchwork quite large enough for a queen size bed LOL.

Gracie, I always assumed that your username was your first name till I knew what it really was because it just seemed logical kwim? As for baby pics, at this age they change so quickly, so you can't always identify from baby pics, but I took mine down because I just couldn't be bothered to have one in the ticker LOL. Some people don't mind being completely open about themselves online, but I don't want to make it easy for people to find me.

    Hi Girls,

well it's official...the first mum in our parent group is expecting #2! so i guess these bubs really are growing up and making way for the next lot! LOL!

and talking about heaters a mum in group had her little man severly burn his fingers on a towel heater rack. the poor wee thing has to have his dressing changed at the hospy everyday. needless to say the poor mum is feeling really bad. but let's face it these kids can move fast! has anyone else noticed how they have a magnetic attraction for all things perilous!

MD: i must buy a slab of something LOL!!

Noni: woo hoo Asha is on the move!

awww i am getting all emotional ATM about seeing/reading about these bubs growing up so fast! i cant believe that i am already thinking about her first birthday! i still remember the day she was born like it was yesterday!

i guess i better update her ticker photo...

    hi everyone
Clare - wow how far along is your friend?? i cant believe our babies are old enough that we could be preg again!!! you have made me all emotional now too!
Gracie - i always thought that was your name LOL!! i read that post too and i have taken off my ticker etc, i think i could be identified with N name and birth date, and to be honest i dont like putting too much info out there. after reading it i feel a bit silly asking everyone where their names come from, i hope i didnt put anyone in a sticky situation there... ooops!
well we didnt go to surfers, i am goinh to melb tomorrow and to my friends farm for a few days. we decided that with the bad weather it was not worth the schlepp up there...the farm will be lovely and we will do lots of cooking, relaxing and playing with our babes.
N has been an angel the last few days - each night sleeo has been getting better and last night we only did a feed at 1030 and then at 5am - it has been MONTHS since i have had a night like that. he is now asleep again, and has been for 1hr 45 so far (close toa record day sleep) - i hope this doesnt mean he is getting sick? he has been a happy boy so i REALLY hope it is just that for once no teeth pain, tummy aches etc and so he can sleep well... and that we are turning a corner and NOT that he is unwell. aaah the life of a mum - worry when he does not sleep and then worry more when he does LOL! i wonder how long he will sleep for. it is lucky actually as i am working and my fdc lady is unwell today with gastro (prob from Noah - ooops i feel TERRIBLE about that) so this has given me some time to get some critical things done. i also hope my trip away doesnt break this wonderful sleep patterm he is getting into at night...

wow, she is brave - that is crazy!!! but would be amazing at the same time.
N is asleep AGAIN! he got up at 12 (so 2 hrs exactly) and we had lunch and went out shopping and then he had a feed again and went back to sleep at 3. i am in shock. i do think i see a runny nose.. so PLEASE make this just that he wants to sleep and not that he is sick!

ETA - well he got up after 25 mins, so i guess not another mega nap!!

Babies that sleep during the day - where can I get one of them?? She is just so tired and when I finally get her to sleep it's usually only one cycle. There are permanent bags under her eyes and I'm going crazy without any time to myself because all the little chores I used to be able to do while she was happily lying on the floor (eg unpack dishwasher), she's now up and trying to get into it!

OK - feeling a bit better now.

Gracie - glad he pooed for you, you'll know when he's constipated because he will cry with every push, it's really awful, K had tears running down her face and I'd check her nappy and nothing would have come out.

    Screaming baby to attend to...

Cally can you get a gate across the kitchen? Keep K out for five minutes while you're unpacking the DW? We can't sadly, it's sort of a corner space where the gate would have to go, it wouldn't work. I keep the portacot set up with toys in it so I can park E in there for a few minutes when I just need her to stay out!!

pregpan- gracie is very close to my real name that's why i was a little worried when i read that thread. a lot of people IRL actually only know me as gracie. whereabouts in melb is your friend's farm?

cally- that made me cringe thinking of little k trying to push out a poo ouch

clare- there's a lady in my mothers group who is pg again and another who has been trying for 4 months.

i've just been up to the park collecting pine cones and i've come back and lit a roaring fire. it's freezing here!
