Hi guys. Sounds you are doing well.
Nai - Yay on the loss. Great job!
Welcome Ryatha! Nice to see you in here.
Cherished - yay for no gain. I hope this goes well with the no counting.
Ammaki - 200g isn't so much. It could just be fluid. Hang in there!

Well I was pretty naughty yesterday, I went to work by bike but was just so so tired so got DH to pick me up when I was done. I had fried food for lunch then slept for two hours. Then got up for dinner and ice-cream, then passed out at 8:30. I think I have just been doing too much. But heres hoping the bad food won't weigh me down too much tomorrow.
Well see you all in the morning!

Thank you everyone for your incredibly warm welcome!

Well today has gone well. I walked to school and back this afternoon and have avoided eating nutella all day! I've just had an evening snack but stopped before eating the whole packet of biscuits. I didn't get a chance to use the wii as DH was in that room studying but DD1 and I plan on using it tomorrow night.

Give me a few posts and I'll start remembering names. And yes I'm in the sticks of Adelaide at Gawler, I landed a great job teaching out here and moved the family here so I didn't have the long drive! Since I am the sole income earner, I got to choose where we live That is bizzare about the mango... what a memory to have of Gawler!

Ok, going to bed soon so I can avoid the sweet foods. How do I avoid this sweet craving I get every night??????

A cup of herbal tea after dinner can help with the second dinner/dessert cravings.

    Hi

I've been reading along here for a few days and thought I'd start posting.

I am eating Lite N Easy as a weight loss method. I've been doing it for a week and a half and have lost about 3 kg - out of a total 15 that I want to lose.

You are all a great inspiration!

Welcome time4myself! Well done on the 3kg loss

Ryatha - I often have low fat youghurt with fresh strawberries or raspberries as dessert. Berries taste like treat food to me so it's nice. If you really need something try the WW chocolate ice-cream. It's like frozen chocolate mousse and hits the spot.

Hi time4myself - I just joined as well!

krysalyss - herbal tea sounds good, I like peppermint, I assume it is ok when bfing.

Nai - the berries sound good - it reminds me that I have some frozen berris in the freezer I can eat with the yogurt. But I might have to try that WW icecream, it sounds fantastic!

Ammaki - at least you did the wii - I didn't even do that!

But i did manage to avoid the sweet food at bed time and not snack! Today is taking it easy, on Dr's orders to help my milk, but should be good to go tomorrow... feeling positive

I couldnt leave a saucapan on all day whilst im at work ... slowcooker. NO WORRIES! I can put it on go to work then when i come home theres no excuses not to exercise! I usually cook for an hour two when i get home from work but now i can cook it throughout the day and its ready when we get home ... also making our dinner time earlier therefore more time to burn it off before bed! Oh i love it!!

Ammaki- Thats a great idea the slow cooker ive got one i just need some healthy recipe ideas for it. Dinner for me definently has to change. but i feel alot better over the last few days ive only been drinking water and steering away from the wrong foods its amazing how fast you feel it. hopefully it shows even abit on the scales this afternoon when i weigh myself.

Snugglybean- That is so exciting must of felt amazing i cant wait to get there where you are right now ! Congragulations you should be so proud!

cherished1- i just bought the best blender myself, more so for DD as shes on solids but it has a smoothie attatchment its the best investment ive made so easy to use and takes seconds to clean best thing ever,i use it for everything. Its a brevile cordless hand held one its so convenient its the best!
Also what kind of smoothies do you have im trying to think of things i can have to keep me fuller and am running out of inspiration?

belfie- Thanks hun ill have to have alook at the WW site, see how it goes. Oh and congragulations on your little Woohoo more like a big WOOHOO i think congragulations!

Nai- Wow hun thats amazing how much you have lost you must feel so amazing congrads i cant wait to loose that much

I Love my slow cooker! It is awesome for baked beans (especially if you come home after a boozy night, you can put them on, then wake up, stumble into the kitchen and put some goodness back in ) and other legume-based dinners. You can use a casserole dish in the oven, but the slow cooker is such incredible peace of mind. It is very low fat cooking, too. Although so fricken tasty you could eat about 20 bowls! I mostly do beans and chickpeas and stuff in mine, but meatatarians can do some incredible stews and casseroles.
Hey cherished, when you do your roadie to the G-Cizzle to kick Ammaki's backside, pick me up on the way! Hear that, Ames? DOUBLE butt-kick. Watch yourself!
