blizz, I remember my mum saying that when my SIL decided to go back to work when her first was just 6 weeks old, she felt sad for SIL as she was missing out on so many firsts.

DH called me about 20 minutes ago to say that he called the Fertility Clinic and there was no sperm. devastated just doesn't seem to cut it and poor DH is in a hospital room trying to cope with all this and I'm stuck here waiting for midday when the tiler finishes for the day and hopefully completes the tiling for the bathroom.

I guess we are eternal optimists and we hoped against hope that they would find something. We have been knocked for six but will get back on our feet again and keep going.

DH has pushed the clinic to bring forward the date for the interview with the counselor re donor sperm to next tuesday.

I admire DH because when he wants to he puts the pedal to the metal with the medical community, but I guess that is what you get for being around it for 34 years!
