Hi Ladies, it's been a while since I've made an appearance but we've had our appt with the FS last Wednesday (16th) and he is fantastic! He booked my husband in for testicular biopsy on the Friday (18th). It all happened so quick.
FS didn't expect to find any sperm and told us there was practically no sperm left, he only had 2 samples in his clinic. He also said that "as of 10 days ago it was illegal to bring sperm in from the US". Is this true? He said if we wanted a donor, we'd have to find our own. That was so daunting - I can't even begin to explain.
Anyway the biopsy went well & the FS found sperm. Very, very few, but he found some. The IVF clinic will attempt to freeze them and prep me for IVF.
That said, I want to say thank you to you all for your support. The information you all provided was invaluable and gave me an insight into an issue that I had never had to concern myself with previously. Now having been faced with all of this, I will be speaking to my FS about the possibility of me donating to help someone else who needs it.
