Children of Narcissistic Parents

I'm fairly sure my mother has some Narc. traits - any of you who have read some of my posts about her will agree, I'm sure! They aren't too bad when DH is around because he takes offence at far less than I display offence for. Having said that, he's perfectly justified in not enjoying my mother's rudeness.

ATM, I'm on limited contact. My mother sadly knows I have a job, which I'm kicking myself about telling her. She's just using it as gossip, again. All my life is basically fuel for her gossip. Yes, I may have a higher privacy need than other people, but that doesn't mean it's OK to tell people something I ask you not to repeat just because, to you, that person is OK to know private stuff about me.
