Leesa - compared to what you normally do? Yeah, I'd consider that resting
I totally get what you're saying about the injuries... but my injury actually prevented me from working and caring for DD properly. I CAN'T go back to that. It would kill me! So I need to be smart with my exercises. Loads of rehab, clinical pilates, obey the rules... and take it one step at a time. Small steps to reach the moon... and apparently enjoy the journey along the wayI'm just a little more tentative than I'd like and normally am. I used to go gunho but now I'm more reluctant and cautious. I very nearly ended up in surgery before Christmas so have to take it easy... which is sooooo not my style!
Hollo - of course you can get through it!!!! Can't wait to hear about your class after it's been and gone!!!!!!!!! My injuries? Where do I start?I have numerous old injuries from my dancing days and also from... adventures lol. But about 6 months ago I slipped 2 discs (L4/L5 and L5/S1) also compressing on nerves. OUCH. It really impacted on my life and I nearly ended up in surgery. I've persevered with rehab and clinical pilates which has been my saviour (apparently). And now my knee has gone. It will be ok though. I also did my shoulder around 8 months ago. They were pretty worried about that because I lost all movement in the arm at one point. Lucky me. It's now better... again through rehab and my trainer making me tow the line (he's been known to confiscate my power supply to my treadmill at home so I CAN'T rain!!!!!!)
Enough waffle.... Keep up the good work ladies!
