Ferrals I have everything crossed for you your scan will be perfect. Your NT was great so that was a fabulous sign. I have a strong feeling everything is perfect with your bubba. I hope you get some rest tonight.

I had my NT scan today. Measurement was 1.7mm which is within the normal range. Won't get the official result for another 2weeks at my Ob appointment. The sonographer said they can see alot of major problems at the NT and things they find at the morpholigy scan are less severe if they see anything different to what one would expect. She told me that after I told her I will still be concern about the morph scan. She said try not to worry as if they were to find something then when everything looks perfect at the NT scan its usually fixable. FX she is right.

    hi girls!

Thank you all for the very warm welcome... have been 'umming and aghing' as to whether to have a ticker yet but have reluctantly taken the plunge ... and its very exciting after having an ovulation one for a while!

I had my BT today and hcg is at 267, we are very relieved as the nurse said she they would expect it to be about 100 so we seem to have a strong little one at the moment! We have our 6wk scan booked in for Thurs, 21 Oct so praying that everything is well with our little darling.

sorry no persies, just getting to know everyone and what they have going on...

Ferrals - sending lots of love & strength for tomorrow, nothing i can say to put your mind at ease but im praying so so much that your beautiful baby is healthy. i look forward to reading your happy news tomorrow and you will be breathing a little easier xx

Mildez - I'm a bit confused... did she find something abnormal or was she being hypothetical. Sorry... I think I'm having a baby brain episode. I hope your results come back all good at your ob appointment

Kellie - Welcome!!!!! So good to see you in here, hun. Not long now until your 12wk scan eeeeeep! And thank you for being so sweet, what a compliment.

T-Hopes - I know your bfp has been a long time coming, hun. It's great to see you in here at last.

I have been hiding under the same rock as kellbell

I have been quietly stalking this thread trying to get to know everyone and their stories but i have realised it will probably be a lot easier if im posting!

I know a few of u from the ttcaml thread.. so happy that we can all be together in here!

Am starting to feel very anxious about our 12 week scan next tues.. even tho i have been getting a look at bubs every 2 weeks at my ob. appointments.. that excitement i find only lasts about 3-4 days and then the fear takes over again until i get another look.. im hoping that as time goes on i will start feeling less scared.

I cant wait to get to know all u girls i havent already met! Hopefully its not too long til im doing persies!

Oh and t-hopes i LOVE ur ticker!! Gorgeous colour!

    xx

Ferrals - good luck tomorrow. I have some hideous bright green alligator slippers if you want them

Reet - welcome! You should have been here before... This is the best place for it

AFM - My belly is bouncing around. Baby is head down and having a grand old time, although appears to be posterior. Bummer. Had a great nap today, and made a massive pot of soup.

Mildez - NT thickness sounds good. Good luck with the bloods to match.

Kellbell - oooh. I'm glad you are back, no matter how scared you are. We get so superstitious about entering into the 'I'm actually pregnant' phase. Don't want to jinx ourselves. I know I was just the same. I still reckon nothing can take about the nerves, the anxiety, and the waiting (not much help am I? ), except 'time' as you count the milestones. Sorry they got a bit upset in the TTC thread? OUch. I think it was them telling you it is OK to come over.

T-hopes - love the ticker, so colourful. WooHoo for the blood test results.

Ferrals - sleeeeep well tonight. zzzzzz Bubs wants Mum to relax. GL for tomorrow. FX

Dory, Milly5 and HopeLovePositive - miss you, are you guys in the baby threads now?

Audax - 32 weeks, you are really sneaking into the zone. Is posterior position an issue at this stage?

Reet - Hi and welcome. Already 11 weeks along the way, you've been holding back.

AFM - Incububs has been quiet today, I felt extra tired and had a nap after being out today. I think he/she is going through a growth spurt. hey, and I think I feel a little more comfortable today getting ready for our morph scan on Monday and finding out gender. We have decided to find out for ourselves, but then just lie to everyone, that we couldn't find out. I've had so many questions lately, are you going to find out if it's a boy or girl?, getting rather sick of it. But will of course tell you guys.

Warning, TMI. and Oh My, did my whole uterus go into a big tight ball after BD the other day. Whoooops!! Gosh, I hope that's OK/normal. Eeeek, there's a baby in there. And BD dreams to match,,, I'm making up for all sorry a*se times in the 1st trimester. I felt exactly how big my uterus was, just measuring about 1 finger width below my belly button.

Hello ladies, I thought I will join you here, although I am still nervous.

My story is: 43 years old, M/C, baby, M/C, pregnant again. I am not making any long-term plans, as the MC rate at my age is something like 50%. However, I decided that no matter how it turns out, I am just going to try to enjoy this pregnancy. I got my BFP only at about 15 DPO, is kind of late, and usually means problems. However, for the past few days I have been getting rather strong symptoms, my boobs are killing me, I am feeling nausated and hungry at the same time and I feel very hot.

Here, in the US, they do not give you the BTs and "we see our patients between 8 and 9 weeks only". I had to plead with the receptionist that my case is special, so I have my first scan booked on the 21st, but I will not relax until I get the CVS results. At my age, even when you see a h/b, the risk of M/C does not go down that much. I saw the h/b at 6 weeks last time and still the baby died. Sorry if this sounds a bit depressing, but I guess I am trying to protect my heart a bit.

    T-Hopes - hello, I had a feelilng I'll see you here :0)

Hi Luna-- and welcome! I understand where you are coming from...my story is somewhat similar. I plead with the in-vitro people to keep me a little longer as a patient because of my missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. But there is hope! I am now at 16 weeks...and still praying.... I didn't have CVS (I know, scary, given my age) but, in my case, it wasn't recommended given my NT results being better than expected. Best wishes to you for successful pregnancy.

Hello, all you fine ladies, I am sorry that this is quick... I have an appointment on Friday and am jumping out of my skin, as I am still anxious (more today, for some reason). I just want to know that all is well. Can't feel movement yet, and they say I won't until probably 20 weeks. Yikes! My DH told me that we should have rented a doppler. Please, please, please, let this pregnancy continue healthy and well!!! I accidentally (and unknowingly) ate something that I shouldn't have in a restaurant; we sent it back to the kitchen (there is a first time for everything). Even though it was "steaming" -- the beef was GREEN, irridescent. Gasp! Came home and looked up the issue on the net, found a couple of things, that included that sometimes heated, cut beef gets a greenish cast...but is safe-- YEAH, right! I don't want GREEN MEAT. My DH was going to call the health department. I only took a couple bites before I realized it, but oh-my-God, I didn't need this! There wasn't a funky taste, just this weird color.

Thanks for letting me share my stress.

Just wanting to with ferrals the best best best of luck ever today xo

T-HOPES!!! MWA! So good to see you here babe. Hcg results sound awesome xo

Mildez: So glad the NT scan went well, it's a really good sign. You'll see a perfect little baby at the morph scan in 8 weeks

Sunshine and stars: Ack! Green meat! Glad to know it was safe, but still, green!

Luna: I understand the need to protect, we'll be hopeful for you Welcome!

Timeforafamily: That's a braxton hicks contraction, I get them after BD'ing too. Yep, hot right? Nothing to worry about

Audax: I have the very best making soup intentions, but I suspect it will turn into napping.

AFM: Well I'm sick at the moment, nothing major, just a bit of a cold, it does make my already sapped energy levels even more sapped though. Have exams next week so I've been studying heaps. Tiger is just fine Lots of crazy wriggles and movements, I was reading last night with the book on my belly and he kept kicking the book so I kept losing my place! Hospy appt tomorrow, eep!

    Hi to Reet and Kellbell!
