Thank you so much everyone for your beautiful responses - you have all had me in tears, you are so kind. DH also just sent me a lovely email, so I am very teary right now (and not getting much work done!).
Claire - I knew that someone here had to go to London to be a bridesmaid and couldn't fly but I couldn't remember who it was. I am so glad you managed to get there! It is such a long flight - we fly to Paris and then after a 9 hour wait, on to Spain. I hate the flight at the best of times, so I am not looking forward to it. Looks like we will have a serious problem if the OB's scan on the Mon shows any probs, as we fly out on the Thurs. I am not sure if travel insurance will cover it, as it specifically excludes travel when you have had previous pg complications or medically assisted conception. I don't know if you can call 2 m/cs previous pg complications, and I was on clomid, not to conceive but to hopefully help this one to stick, so not sure if they call that assisted conception or not in my case. I soooo hope we both get positive results on Mon and can breathe out a little. I'm glad you are feeling better than you thought you would, and happy birthday for tomorrow!
mummyto1 - thank you! It's good to hear that it doesn't seem to take too long to recover after a D & C (physically - obviously emotionally is another matter). I had a drug to induce a m/c, and it resulted in 11 days of heavy bleeding and cramping and another 5 days of light bleeding. I would def have a d & c next time, if it comes to that.
Susan - welcome and sorry to hear of your loss.
Salt - yeah, I do have sick leave, but I really don't want anyone suspecting anything, and have been too busy at work to take any time off. I think I might just have to though, I am soo tired I can barely get through the day.
BBL - yet another fire alarm is going off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
