Hi everyone,
Megs75 - I'm sorry for your loss. Yes, we've all been through it and I think that's what makes us so supportive to each other. Most of the people we come across in the real world don't know we've had a m/c and those that do have often not had one themselves so they just don't understand.
Kiwigirl - Sorry I can't help you with that bleed as I've never had anything like that before. I guess you will know if it was ovulation bleeding if you get your AF in two weeks (hopfully you won't get it at all of course).
Britkane - I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you find the support you need in this forum.
Claire - It's great that the m/s has kicked in with a vengance.
Sharon - As long as you leave your thermostat on about the same temp each night it shouldn't affect your temps. We keep ours on overnight as well and it doesn't seem to have affected anything. One thing I do know is that you shouldn't use electric blankets when you are temping as that does alter your temp.
Cherie - From experience I can tell you that a temp taken at a different time in the day is usually inaccurate. For example I took one in the early hours of Sunday morning (I was staying elsewhere so couldn't see a clock) and got 36.4 so thought I'd ovulated. When I took it at the usual time later on it was only 36 and I had not ovulated as I also got 36 the following morning. I'm hoping the comments about pregnancy will stop now, that the pregnant coworker has gone on her maternity leave. She was probably the worst about it, followed by my closest coworker (in proximity). I couldn't help it recently, I mentioned how as she was nearly 30 with no boyfriend on the horizon she'd better get her bum into gear or she'd still be trying to pop them out at my age. Mean I know, but I wanted her to see how uncomfortable it is to have people say stuff about a subject that you are very concerned about. I hope that O is on its way to you.
Bun - Stop stressing about a D&C. You are not going to need one. If you did you would probably be fine to fly in relation to bleeding but you could be an emotional wreck. Once again I say you will not need one. You need to try and get your paranoia under control or it's going to wreck your holiday and your entire pregnancy. Very few women have 3 miscarriages in a row. Your body was just preparing itself for this pregnancy and now it's well and truly ready - your horrendous morning sickness is constant proof of that. Lecture over now.
It's CD18 for me now & it appears that I O'd on CD16 as I've had two higher temps in a row (jump of .4). Basically I think that puts me out of the race this cycle. We BD'd pretty much every day up until Friday night & then not again until Monday night & that looks like the day I O'd. From what I've read you don't have much chance of catching the egg if you DTD on the same day. Maybe there were some really strong swimmers that lived for 3 days but I doubt it. Well at least I wont sit here imagining that I'm pregnant again this cycle as I know that it is very unlikely.
Hi everyone,
satya - good luck for this month, you never know now that you are more relaxed about it all it may just happen!
Susan, Karlie and megs75 - welcome, I am so sorry for your losses
Sharon - good luck! I reckon if you've got the ducted on really low and at the same temp each night you should be alright. I'm sure I read on FF if you use an electric blanket to make sure it is on low and the same temp each night, so I guess the same would apply to A/C?
Shoegal - that's great news about your HSG! Good luck for this coming cycle
Bun - please try to stop stressingAlthough having said that I can understand totally why you are, but everything will be OK this time I just know it! That's great (well not great but YKWIM?) about the tiredness and being sick - it must mean that everything is progressing well. It sounds exactly like what I felt like when I was PG with Megan
Claire - hope you are going well
salt - all the best for your parents op today, I'm sure everything will be fineStay away AF!!!
pash - I hope you are doing OK
Hi to everyone else that I have missed, hope you are all doing well
Sorry for my absence over the last couple of days, but I have had a sick little girl. We had very little sleep over the weekend with a sore throat and then had a very high fever on Monday and spent the whole day lying on the lounge under our favourite blanket asking for cuddles. Poor little baby! We are doing well today though
We have decided to give TTC a go this month, thanks everyone for asking. I just thought about it for a while and decided that maybe it was best to try and not waste a month, but I must admit I am still worried about what may happen if I actually get pregnant with a low progesterone. I am feeling a bit less worried/concerned about starting on the Clomid - I just wish this cycle would hurry up and be over!
Salt, it is all a bit confusing to me too! But I think what Bun said is right, that I am Oing, but not "properly" (??) whatever that means. When I told my ob that I got a + OPK last month and that my temps seemed to indicate that I had Oed, that is pretty much what he said as well. I guess the progesterone levels just aren't high enough for it all to be happening as it should *shrugs*
Also I did get the CD21 test done a day or 2 later than I should have too (because I had a very short cycle compared to normal last month and it was a bit of a surprise), so maybe it was actually a little bit higher a couple of days earlier - and my ob suggested that this may be the case too.
I guess that is the main reason why I decided to give TTC a go this month, I thought that just maybe the test results were a bit off and they might be better this month. Although I don't really hold out a lot of hope, I was pretty suspicious before I got the test results that the progesterone would be the problem even though I never said it here. I'm also wondering now if it was because I breastfed Megan for a long time - she weaned herself only about 6 months ago - and my hormones have not yet returned to normal? Who knows? Or maybe my hormones just haven't gone back to normal since I gave birth? Certainly while I was feeding her I had no AF for a long time - it came back when she was 14 months old and I started taking the minipill - actually it was really good, between preg and breastfeeding I had no AF for almost 2 years!! LOL
Morning all!
Salt - Oooh, everything crossed for you hon! Looks like everything has gone as it should this month, this is the one!
clairabel - Congrats on reaching 7 weeks! Each week is a wonderful milestone! Happy birthday!! Hope you have a wonderful day!
Bun - sorry I haven't gone back far enough to know what's going on, but hope you are doing ok and growing that precious bub beautifully
Shoegal - glad your results are all ok! Good luck for this cycle!
Sharon - Totally understand how you've been feeling, glad you updated and truly hope this is a better cycle. yay for the increases SD...look out hubby!! Thinking of you this month.
Satya - Hoping like crazy that you did catch that egg! Fingers crossed for you too hon!
Megsmum - Good on you for trying again this month! I hope this month proves to be the one, my progesterone levels are up and down each cycle so hopefully last month was an off month, and this one will be better.
Hi to the new ladies, sorry to hear of your losses, this is a wonderful little group, but I truly hope you don't need to be with us for long.
Hi to everyone else.
Me - had my repeat BT yesterday and my levels have doubled accordingly and I now have a lot healther result. So hoping this was a late implant or a slow start and we are making some progress. They want to test again Friday just to make sure. M/S has well and truly kicked in, my boobs hurt like crazy so the signs are pretty good for now. Will stay a little longer if that's ok, since we are not quite out of the woods yet - plus want to be able to support all the wonderful ladies that have supported me.
Lisa, that is great news!I am keeping everything crossed you!!
Hugs
Lisa - woo hoo!! I am so happy to hear that!
megsmum - thanks. Hopefully the m/s and tiredness is a good sign, it better be, because I am sooo over over feeling like this already, so it had better be for a good cause! I hope your little girl is feeling better today. Good on you for TTC this cycle. You are right, prog levels can change each cycle, and they tend to peak at 7DPO, so if your BT was a couple of days out, you would not have had peak prog levels. Good luck for this cycle!
satya - thanks for the lecture. I am really trying to be positive today, I promise!!
Hi to the new girls, and sorry to hear of your losses. I hope your stay in here is short (for the nicest possible reason!).
sharon - good to see you back again. I think temping should be fine.
Salt - how are you going today? I know you may not be online today, but I am thinking of you and I am sure all will go well today. I look forward to hearing that your parents are making a speedy recovery!
shoegal - yay! So glad to hear all is clear. Good luck TTC this cycle! I have heard that you have a higher chance this cycle and next after that procedure, so hopefully this will be it for you!
Well, I started my day with some lovely dry-retching. I finally managed to force some brekky down and was yet again late for work. We have an end of financial year work function on the weekend, and I am not sure if I will be able to make it or not. I feel soooo sick all the time, and am not sure if I will be able to get through dinner without chucking, plus it is so obvious that I am not drinking (and who doesn't drink when it's free??), so I may have to make up an excuse to get out of it. I have sooo many social engagements on right now and I just want to crawl into a hole until I feel better. In a way I can't wait for the holiday, as at least I don't have any pressure on me, and there will be no need to worry about being sick in public, as no one will know me anyway! Hopefully when we get back I will be feeling better.
Hello everyone!!
I haven't been here in about two weeks, and there is so much to catch up on. I might have to read through later.
Well, I am still worried that I am not going to O again...I have been taking VITEX every day, and Elevit... and doing all the "right" things... but I just worry that something is wrong, even though my doc said that from all the BT I had my hormones are fine, I dont have PCOS, and everything else he tested me for was fine as well...
He did give me a referral letter to a FS for a "second opinion" or to help us conceive... but I just cant make myself call yet...
I am on CD14 and have not really had any of my usual signs of O (eg EWCM) so I am not holding much hope... I guess time will tell....
I am kind of getting over the whole thing, and starting to think it will never happen.
Sending lots of sticky vibes to all the PG girls. I know its hard for you! I know I will be the same... but stay strong, you will have a baby in your arms at no time at all.
