Well Nathan is sick for the first time, my poor baby he has a vomiting bug, YAY I have changed and cleaned the cot and my bed 3 times tonight already. I have no hot water left after showering three times with him and after all the showers this evening, so I hope he sleeps the rest of the night. That and we have no more clean PJ's. He's sleeping next to me now on a folded up doona cover. Poor little man.

I'm back! Can't wait to press 'submit' to see my new av! I haven't been around as I've been busy and hardly home!
My house, too, is a bit of a mess, but at least most of the washing is done (DP helped with hanging) and the kitchen is semi-tidy again.
Oscar can now reach up to the bench tops, enough to bring things down...like the second last breakfast bowl...so now I have NO choice but to replace the bowls with crisp new white bowls...terrible, isn't it, this shopping business?? DP needs to remember to keep pot handles pointed inwards, too.
Oscar's climbing is reaching chronic supervision proportions, or he'll break his neck! He's gone from 'go fast' baby, to 'go faster' baby, and he runs around everywhere...on tippy toes, in a very clunky fashion.
My sister leaves tomorrow morning and I think tonight was the last time I'll see her till the next time. She may not have time to swing by here on the way to the airport and I don't have a car to get there tomorrow. If I'm up early enough I'll walk there, but I doubt I'd have enough mojo for that sort of caper.
We went swimming and wore the kids out, then came back here, had a whinge session about my two depressed parents, went back to my parents', got a bit fed up with my dad (surely, as the daughter of a depressed person, you're allowed to just get sick of it every once in a while!). Then back home to cook up a quick dinner then fly out of here to get to the fire station to host my aromatherapy party. That was ace. Lots of fun learning about the practical applications for aromatherapy around the home. So, I got a bathroom cream cleanser, kitchen spray and air freshener - the demo's the lady made are mine to keep I don't have definite party bookings from last night, but even without them I get some goodies. I don't care, I have enough to start on here and get this house chemical free and mood enhancing! I like that I can engineer moods with my oils, hee hee!
This morning I had Booby Club and that was great. My sister didn't come in the end because she went to Knox with my mum to buy Chiara a whole heap of things. After Booby Club I made an impromptu visit to my horse, while the sky was still clear, and that was lovely. Oscar was fascinated, as it's been a while since he saw my horse. Got back home to try to clear things up a bit, but Oscar was in 'on' mode, so not much got done before he crashed...and I crashed with him! Off to MIL's for dinner, before she heads up north for 6 weeks (no babysitter! Ay! Have to be super organised with this house to get any study done till she gets back...can't rely on SIL, though she means well). Back to parents' to spend time with my sister, but my niece was asleep. Now back home, nappy bag restowed, dirty nappies cleaned up (the pockets that my sister made are the ones I use now for going out, the sposies are for emergencies, the flats are for home, or if I run out of pockets for going out!) and sitting in front of BB to catch up.

Julie - how bloody frustrating about your dad! Is it age? Do you think he is just deciding he's at the right age to start being difficult? I think it's a lovely idea to christen whilst over there - very fitting. So, you take out some time from harvest...how often does a grandchild get christened?? All they need to do is not make a big deal about it and then before they know it, it's business as usual. You're envious of my shopping? I'm completely envious that you have farmer family! I wish my parents' only problem was working around harvest...
Mel - You know the stress you felt at waking up late? And rushing around like a mad thing? That's me all the time! I am that disorganised. Should I say, I WAS...this is the new me...I promise...
Bath - small price to pay for getting away for a weekend, the washing will sort itself out (with a little...ahem, maybe a lot, of help from you). Thanks so much for my avatar - you're a legend
