Prama - MJ squeals and screeches too - asked a freind and she said that it is normal development and that a friend of her had a bubs had a baby that didnt do it - ended up the bubba was delayed in speech... so its all good as much as they choose the worst time to do it!!!
I'm the opposite to Danni. I tend to read all the posts and then not post coz I run out of time.
Please don't hate me for making this comment and this is not a judgement on ANYBODIES choice but I wanted to say that children are perfectly well socialised even if they don't go to childcare. Talking to new mum's there seems to be a pressure to send your child to daycare for one or two days a week so they can be socialised (Children need to go for many other reasons and this is not a comment on those). Our children are socialised everytime they see us interact with someone. We are the ones who teach our children how to treat other people and how to react to other peoples treatment of us. There are plenty of activities (swimming, gymbaroo, playgroup, etc) that are great for a child's development. This isn't a comment on whether to send your child to childcare or not but just see it as becoming the norm and people thinking they have to send their children.
Glad to see those JJ are working out for you. It certainly helped me stay sane wtih DD. Paddy is still happy to be on the floor most of the time. Having said that he is moving into his manic phase to let me know he's had enough and ready for bed. Fingers crossed he'll sleep longer than 40 mins.

I agree. Jaz went to pre school the first time at 2 for a few months. Then went a little while again at 3 for about 6 months. That was it til school.
Even before she started I used to have comments about how socialised she was. She was & still is a friendly, open & outgoing child.
Bri has only just started day care once a week this year. But she's never really had any social issues.
The only reason I put them into pre school & day care is really for more interaction with other kids their age. & for a bit of fun for them. Jaz is the oldest out of all our friends kids.
Jaz is actually the main reason we moved to where we are at the moment. There were only 12 kids at the school she was at & the only 2 girls close to her age were 2 years older than her. I wanted her around kids her age. The ones she was more friends with were 10 & 11 & talking about boys & stuff.
Children are socialised every time they are spoken to. By us, our friends, the lady at the corner shop. It's more having kids around their age that I worry about when they are older. I wanted Jaz to act & play with other 6 year olds, other wise she wouldn't know how to just be 6. iykwim?
Fair comments. I don't have anything else to compare to. I just know that I've noticed a difference in Jazz since starting daycare. It may just be a coincidence.
We ended up doing 33km because a big storm was coming and it ended up hailing snow!!!! Well it was all ice and vey cold but on the car, roads and paths it hailed so much it looked like snow anyway...... so we had to stop, i couldn't do anymore anyway. My knee joints were stuffing up, toes were sore and my asthma was playing up.... I never have to use asthma puffer at all, and I have one, and today I thought I better get new prescription for replacements because I was wheezing when breathing.....
Had bath, now red wine to relax so I can sleep well tonight.
Sorry I can't do personals, too exhausted.....mentally and physically
I just wanted to say, that after night after night of Jesse not wanting to settle, I put him back in the porta cot thats still in our room & he went to sleep with out winging once.
Same here teach sometimes i read all the posts and then no time for posting myself or not enough time for personals.
Summy is sick she was gasping for air and choking during the night, poor little chicken the other girls aren't well either and i have a bit of it too plus i have done something to my neck.
Summer is yelling and squeeling at the moment its very cute but LOUD!!
Skye Summer quite happily nods off in our room even if i am in the room doing stuff so if and when we move it will be interesting to see if she wants or lets us move her into her own room.
Shell, wow thats a long walk i went to the horses and within 15 mins it was hailing and i was in the middle of the paddock getting smacked in the head with ice and it going down my jumper was not fun.
Hope every one else is good..... Gotta go get girls ready for school it's so miserable here and one is still in bed... Might be back later
