kim - im so glad Darcy is finaly feeling a bit better. Gosh se has always been a great little talker hasn't she?!

Weird afternoon/night here for us. Arch woke up from his sleep at 5:00 and cried and tantrumed for an hour til he had his tea, then he was quite happy. I was on the phone to a friend and while i was sitting on the couch talking and laughing he climbed up and rested his face in my chest and relaxed. He had no dummy so i thought he wont fall asleep. Since he was about 10 months old he has never slept anywhere but the carseat or his bed, well while i was on the phone he fell asleep on me for half an hour without a dummy, just drifted off! i am still shocked, that just doesn't happen with him he always has to be in his bed! i woke him up to put a nappy on him and put him to bed and he went to sleep, i didn't have to do the big bath toast book bed routine! Strange strange strange!

Lorelle- mothers groups can be funny can't they? i was in one with erin and half the group didn't speak english but all spoke the same language so that split us up pretty quickly! the remaining 4 of us stayed close we ranged inage at that stage from 29- 39. I am friends with the girls i did aquaaerobics with prenatally with Riley, we are like a MG and are very close, the youngest is 27 and there are 2 of us who arev 40 and 5 in their 30s so i guess it just depends on the peopplefgg.
got to g bxo riley drving me nuts!!!

When i had whooping cough I had mega strong abs and i took inner health plus capsules and didn't even get thrush which was great!

when i was out walkingyesterday in the rain, I must have walked through some burrs - My pram tyre has had it!!! Grrr where am I going to get antoher one from. I had to take the stoller today and OMG my arms are killing.
I have however managed to be a good housewife and mum for the first time today. We made a cake, did some drawing together, made the beds (unheard of around here), dusted, packed and unstacked the dishwasher twice, shined the sink () and Darcy went to sleep in her own bed while I did Ngalas 8 minutes and stretched. I have eaten properly and exercised. I also weeded. Can you tell I'm feeling good today?lol. Sorry I just had to talk to someone....

don't worry...it will have worn off by tomorrow. I even resigned up to flylady....I'm the worlds worst housekeeper, so I figured I better pick up my act before there were 2 children to pick up after (Cam comes home 13th Feb).

Just about to sort out my uni enrolment but wanted to pop in and say hi! Em went back to CC today and then off to his Dads and I missed him like crazy. He came back with a scratched and bruised up nose though, apparently he fell flat on it. Poor kid. He really is just a klutz.

kim - eeeeewww, not the greatest feeling when your bums not 100% clean! Yeah i was gonna suggest a probiotic, i take them everyday to keep my disgestive system in order, good stuff they are, yep i take the Inner Health Plus as well. Oh my goodness i can't believe how motivated you were today! Are you nesting??LOL

nat - hope you got all your uni stuff sorted. poor Em's nose, they really can be klutz's can't they

You must al be SO sick of hearing about Archies pottying but i just HAVE to brag about this, very proud mummy moment this evening (so stop reading this post if you are over it already LOL)

Went to the shopping centre tonight to fill out a script, Archie just wore undies and shorts and i explained to him that wee doesn't go in undies it goes in the potty. They have a little kids toilet at the shops but i put the potty in the car just in case. When we got to the shops i sat him on the toilet but he didn't go, half hour later i was ordering things at the deli when he said "potty potty", I told the girl to put the stuff in the fridge, and i literally RAN to the toilets telling Archie to hold on. Well he did hold on, but was too scared to do wees on the toilet, so i put his undies back on and told him to hold on while we get the potty from the car. He held on the whole time, sitting there with his little legs crossed going "ow ow wee" LOL, we got the potty back to the toilet and he did a big wee!!!!!!!!!!! Dry undies! I just can't believe he knows to hold on!

Okay thats it no more potty talk (at least til tomorrow anyway)

ELISSA - Wow, Archie is just amazing - Can't believe he hung on, let alone all that time - that's just brilliant !!!!! ... Cendrine is so not ready for potty training & I felt beta wen the health nurse agreed & said we put too much pressure on ourselves as Mum's to get them training just before or wen they turn 2. Gotta admit I'm dreading it ... But then Cendrine has surprised me in some many things that she does so I'm hoping she will be ok about it

Cendrine said "POO POO" 4 the 1st time yesterday whilst she was doin a no#2 . I was so thrilled. And the nite b4 she pointed to the oven and said to me with a serious voice of caution "HOT" whilst pointing at the oven. I have 2 admit I just turned the oven on. I don't like her in the kitchen when stove or oven is on, ... Augh, it just freaks me out.

KIM - Just what a fab talent to have in sewing. Oh, I'm so envious of u... Oh, no I'm actually jealous (Boo Hoo). Thought I was fantastic 'ironing on' some cute patches on Cendrine's tops 2 jazz em up, LOL

LEANNE - Av u got ya new Telly yet ?? Gee, saw a 68cm in Aldi last wk. To think I paid a grand$ 4 a 68cm TV about 14yrs ago. Still have it & it's blown twice.

KIM - How's our lil sweet Darcy girl doin ? Did the Doc say an approx duration in how long it would take 2 clear up ?

Got a bit down last nite about turnin 42 nxt Tues - don't kno why ??? I think cause Adam & my plan was 2 try 4 another bub wen Cendrine turned 1, but oh my god I jst & still don't feel ready 2 go thru it all again. We av bn kinda tryin, jst not like b4 wt Cendrine.
They found a growth in my uterus last mth & we av appt wt specialist 31st this mth. I'm crappin myself if I'm told my chances r slim, ... tho my GP reckons I should be fine (but she admits shes no expert in the field).

Oh, wish I was younger to av the luxury (as I call it) to chose wen u r ready 4 the nxt one(bub) ... Wish I had another 3 or 4 more yrs but my age is so against me. Is strange to feel your body is considered of mature age to have a bub, yet I feel so damn young. It's a weird but sort of cruel feeling. As I never chose to have children later in life, it's jst the way it worked out.

... I'm so beautifuly lucky 2 have my Cendrine , it's jst that she so deserves a sibling & I want her 2 kno later in life I certainly tried : ) Their isn't anything I wouldn't do 4 her, she's such a sweet gift & makes me lauf each & every day

Oh girls I feel awful.... my phone has been playing up dreadfully lately and I had a message from Sheree a few days ago and she asked me to post some stuff cause she is away. Now my phone switched off and it wouldn't switch back on so I put it to the side... and promptly forgot I feel just terrible but I am here posting in now. Better late then never I guess

From Sheree "had gyno appt and bubs is just fine. Cervix doesn't look great though and def progressing towards cancer. He took a biopsy and have to wait for refulst but he is confidents that its not cancer. If biopsy confirms what he suspects then he will just need to operate on me once bubs is born. Best news that I could have hoped for really."

Again I am so so sorry Sheree that it took me so long to post this!

Lorelle That is fantastic of Cendrine saying Poo! YAY! (strange the things we get excited over eh?) I can only imagine how you are feeling in regards to TTC #2. Its a big decision and its awful when you feel as though its being taken out of your hands. I hope the Dr comes back with good news.

Alright I better get going. I'm babysitting today and its almost time for the boys to wake up! Then its lunch time! I have spent the morning getting frustrated trying to enrol for uni lol but its all done now. The next most important thing on my list to do is transfer all the numbers into my new phone! Then I won't keep getting into trouble when my old phone starts stuffing up!!! grrr

lorelle - yeah, i had no intention on TT him til next Summer or even the Summer after, but he just seems like he is ready so i have been thrown in the deep end, im certanily not enjoying it, its hard not to get frustrated when they have a really god day then the next 2 days they wee in their pants all day without a care in the world. We definately put WAY to much pressure on ourselves these days, i reckon we mums need to just relax and listen to our kids, they often know best. Cendrine is doing well knowing when she has pooed and telling you, Arch thinks poos and wees are the same thing...I always used to be nervous with the oven too, am still really nervous when the stove is on. it really must be hard having the pressure of age when having kids, big hugs, i realy hope you get blessed with another beautiful bub when the time is right for you

nat - dont stress about the messge you have lots on your plate. Hope Em's having fun having a playmate for the day, whats it like looking after 2 kids?

sheree - big hugs, so great that bubs is doing so well, and great that you got the best news possible re your cervix.

I have had a very easy day today. Archie slept in til 9am!! Then Mum took him for a few hours, bought him back and he has been sleeping ever since, imagine how many kids we'd all have if mothering was this cruisey all the time!

So feel for Sheree, that is such a hard situation to be in & 2 face that later on afta avin a bub, oh my god. BUT so wonderful that baby is doin well !!! *** Sending massive positive vibes 2 her !!

Not the same as Sheree (no where nr as hard as her situation), .... BUT I had a breast cancer scare a wk b4 my 34th b'day (my Mum's sis was diagnosed at 38)... My partner at the time (a rich millionaire) said in these words 2 me - "No other man would want u wt a scare like that ". (As I had surgery, ... And luckily the Doc got it in time).

As for the idiot rich guy, I by chance had his sports car for a weekend wen he went on a business trip interstate ... And would u believe it I had my 1st eva car accident in THAT car... Yes, $5000 worth of damage. Geez, and I only scraped the side panel.

Funny though I felt g8 about it (pls note no one else ws involved in the accident). That relationship ws short lived, just as well I came to my senses early on in the peace.

My Adam now is such a beautiful man & he was so appalled wen I told him the short version of the story. Yeh, don't like to mention Ex's.

Oh Elissa I so envy u as my own Mother has & neva will visit me (let alone help out) as she has an illness where she can't travel out of her suburb. She lives well ova an hr from me. Sad that Cendrine will neva have her Grandma see her 1st hm let alone her nursery or bedroom later.

Since having Cendrine no one truely visits us here in Ballarat. Everyone is either 45mins to 5hrs away), so we av done all the travelling eva since Cendrine was 2wk old. Gotta tell u we are truely tired of it and i reckon we will cut back doin so this yr. Adams folks live 2 and half hrs away and only came 2 visit their only grandchild 2 or maybe 3times last yr. We visit them about every 2mths. The packing and unpacking kills me more then the travel there.

Do u girl's think I'm expecting too much ???

My own two sisters, ... came wen she was born in the hospital, another time to the house wen she ws 4wks old and the last time was 4 her 1st b''day party last early May !!

Would love some ideas & advice if you have any
