Hi girls

Alison You can have haemorrhoids even after a c/s, the pressure alone while you're pg can do it. Funny you should say that about it hurting like it's scratching, I've had exactly the same thing the last 2 days!! I have haemorrhoids but I'm not sure that it's them playing up it felt a bit different, but like you my bm's have been a bit more solid/harder than they have been so could just be the difference in consistency, I've been a bit slack on the water too so that could also do it. I did have a little bleed yesterday after the bm just a bit on the paper (TMI) so was assuming either the roids or my tear has opened a bit I had a look but couldn't see anything external so I'll assume it's the roids. You can also get a little fissure (like a tear) which will sting if it's tiny when you have a bm if it gets bigger it can be quite painful. Can you see or feel any lump around your rectum? If so it could be roids...charming convo they can be internal too so you might not be able to see it if it's inside. You might need to see if it continues and then have a closer look to work out what's going on.

While we're on TMI subjects...how's every ones bleeding going? Mine's definitely less but still going after 3 1/2 weeks I can't remember how long until it stops does anyone know?

Harry's still unsettled most of the day and between about 8/9pm until 12/1am is terrible! So you're not alone there with unsettled babies. Does anyone elses house look like a disaster area? I start doing things and don't get them finished, DP is pretty good he's been washing nappies every day but mess and dirt just don't bother him like it does me, I don't even think he sees it most of the time so the house is getting gross! But like Carmey said newborns are still learning and it will get better so I guess I just deal with it for now it won't be forever.

The chiro did wonders for Harry's attachment, and he brings up a lot more wind than before but is still always windy and unsettled, we have another appointment tomorrow so I'll see if he improves again after that one

Tilda I have become very slack with Harry at night I don't even bother trying to put him into his bassinet most nights, I have a wrap and one of his blankets in bed I feed and change him then keep him in bed with us, not in the middle but on my side wrapped and with his own blanket if it's really cool, I don't put him under our bed clothes and that way we get a little sleep. I'm actually thinking of buying one of the cots I've seen that come up next to your bed with one of it's sides off so it's like he's in your bed but he's kind of not, if you get me, but there's no way you could roll on them or they could get under your doona or anything.

I'm off to try and get our thank you cards done so we can post them tomorrow, Harry will probably wake now, I'm sure I wouldn't get do do a BB post and the thank you cards LOL.
