Nobody may have been trying to say Pooley was a bad mother, but when she has defended her decision numerous times and is still copping criticism for it in this thread and via PM, you have to wonder how it makes her feel about herself and her parenting skills.... I felt the need to post the current information for us in Qld so that it was clear and not just heresay, about what someone thinks the new laws may be. I haven't personally attacked anyone in any of my posts, I was merely getting the correct information direct from the source.

As for the facebook status, I do hope Sanchez, that you are not referring to my status yesterday? Before I go copping criticism for something I haven't done wrong either, I can tell you that it was a vague comment about my decision to formula feed Emily and some crap statistics spouted at me that isn't even mentioned anywhere on the ABA website. I shouldn't really have to explain every facebook status, this isn't high school.

This isn't group I think I can come to for advice, now that we've all got babies and different parenting ideas it seems more like a place to be judged and critisised by others who think their way is the only way and what they are doing has to be the best way because it works for them. I think you underestimate how your "helpful" information has made Pooley feel. None of us are experts, doesn't matter how many books you've read, or how many DVD's you've seen, at the end of the day we do what we do because it works for us. We're never all going to agree, but sometimes you just have to bite your tongue and ignore the need to be right all the time. Saying things like "you might like to rethink that" is unnecessary, condescending and makes the other person feel like absolute crap.
