Surely no one is criticising via PM? Weird. It just isn't that important.

I do apologise if anything I have posted has been taken as criticism or has made anyone feel like they need to defend their decisions. I haven't meant it that way.

I do things my way and everyone else does things that work for them. I do love hearing about the different ways people parent, it opens me up to things that I sometimes hadn't considered or gives me an idea that might work better than what I was doing, especially as they get older. I certainly don't expect people to be doing everything the same way as me - I haven't even done the same things for both of my children.

The only words of parenting wisdom that are universally true are: 'clean up spilt weet-bix before it dries'.
