Short and sweet ... If I were you, I'd have the elective c/s as near to due date as possible.

I had a c/s, can't have a VBAC although I would love one. But if my first birth has gone the way yours have, I would definatly be scared and horrified that it would happen again. And I would think that having to heal and deal with a traumatic birth AND a baby to care for is hard work, but having a baby and a young kid may be harder. More attention that needs to be shared, less time for mommy ykwim!

You can always leave the decision to around 36 weeks ?? Talk with your ob. He'll also have some good prof advice
