I have had a really good few days! I have been walking the past 2 days and eating eally well. I haven't been able to eat my full calories- 2000cals is soooo much food! And my ratios of protein/carbs/fat is still not right, but I'm over it! I'm just going with the flow and if I don't meet the amounts I'm meant to have then so be it....as long as I don't eat too much I'm not worried!

Well after been a bit slack with eating the last 2 days today i am back on track

Went to a friends for dinner last night and she is doing tony ferguson with 2 x shakes and one meal a day. Anyway she cooked me dinner and it was SOOOO good just thought i'd share the "notatoes" recipe which is a good substitute for mash. I turned my nose but at the sound of it but it was really yum even my kids ate it.

    (serves 4)
cut into pieces and steam a whole cauliflower.
once cooked place in food processor with 2 tbls of LF cream chs (we used philly) or LF ricotta and process till smooth. If a little thick you are supposed to add some salt reduced vegie stock but we didnt have too. Oh we also added a tiny bit of garlic.

It looks like mash potato and didnt taste like pureed caulie. It was so good i am having it tonight with some grilled chicken brst and some brocolli on the side. I think i'll even do it for DH when he comes home and see what he thinks of it

If anyone tries it let me know what you think Good way to get more vegies into my lil munchkins.

the nonatoes sound yummy hoody migh give it a go next week

Well had yesterday off as it was my friends wedding but wasnt too bad anyway, however I did have a few soft drinks. However today I did my first workout for the couch 2 5k challenge. For someone who has never really run in my life it was really hard but I am so happy I did it! I am going to the shops now to buy some decent runners now as a treat because the shoes I am using just dont cut it.

Have my ww weigh in tomorrow and I think I might have still lost something despite a dinner out, family birthday dinner and a wedding

Tuesday its my birthday and we are going out to dinner so I am going to check out what chinese meals are the best options because thats what I feel like (no lemon duck for me lol)

I'm still not doing so great in the eating department. Most of my meals are pretty good. Lots of salads and omlettes, but I'm still having to many treats, like I just polished off a Mars bar. I have lost weight simply because of the exercise, I've been back into the weights which feels fantastic. I know though, that unless I sort my eating out the weight loss will come to a stand still. Should get better though now that DH is trying to lose weight to. The only thing that is keeping me going forward is the weigh in on Wednesday. If it wasn't for that then I would have given into the binges.

Hoody, great that you managed to get back on track, hopefully I will get there too.

doing better with the eating this weekend! Spent the days at dh's parents, and his mum is a Lifetime Member with Weight Watchers and is giving me pointers! I have decided to join WW for real, instead of just following her old books, and mil is "joining" too. She'll be coming to meetings with me, and apparently she is very competitive with losing weight! I only hope I can live up to it, and lose just as much!

I don't think I've lost any! All I see in the mirror is a rounder woman than NYE and I've been goood! whats going on?

Wow this thread has quietened down so much My notatoes were yummy again tonight so i think they will become a new household favourite

I am so proud of myself today Have only had my 1200 calories and went for a 1/2 hr walk and then this evening i did 40mins of freestyle step on wii fit. Now i'm stuffed. lol but it feels good.

Captain i'm sure you will get back on track it can be tough at times. I thought i'd do fantastic whilst DH is away but its been the opposite for me i've really struggled with eating.

Sconeonamission- Even if you havent lost any remember that you are still been good A healthy lifestyle is not always about the figure on the scales hun. Yay on joining WW i would love to and might even look into it once my DH comes home.
