I think a weigh in day each week is a good idea as i know i need to be accountable you know?
I wish i could afford a personal trainer, my hubby does a circuit each night and has offered to modify it for me, perhaps that will have to do for now!
Claire, we used to overeat too, one trick i found was to use smaller plates for your meals (so i started dishing everything up on lunch plates) it forces you to eat smaller portions for the pure reason you can't fit as much on!
As for me, i was drinking up to 2 litres of flavoured milk a day, it was just good for quick and easy energy, with 2 little boys i wouldn't have time to make myself healthier things, and the milks would keep me feeling full. I've stopped buying them now though since monday, so hopefully just stopping that helps me shed a bit of weight.
I'll weigh myself first thing tomorrow and report back a starting weight.
