I know what you mean about random comments - I met someone the other day who was only 9wks pg and I said to her when she left "All the best with the next few weeks, hope the 12 week scan goes well" and she said "Oh yeah it'll be fine nothing to worry about" - I wanted to shake her and say "YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!!!!!!!!!!! IT MIGHT NOT BE OK!!!!!"

But I couldn't. Of course. Why on earth would I want to introduce anyone to this world of pain? All the joy in the world to her if she does get through without experiencing this. All the joy to her.
