Nic - hope you get some rest once your DH gets home. My DH has been promoted so doesn't have to do shift work or go away anymore, but I know how hard it was without him here - he works 12 hour days (at least) and even that is tough some days, so I know how you feel!

Viv - yey! Love the good days. Very soon they'll be a lot more frequent.

Julia - L isn't rolling either yet. He rolls from his back to his side but hasn't gone all the way over yet. He tries REALLY hard when I give him a massage at night to get from his tummy to his back, but no luck yet! Happy 4 months!

Mo - that picture is too cute!!

Trish - I know!! I couldn't believe it! I can't remember the last time he slept for that long during the day. The whole day was really good, 3x sleeps, shortest was 1.5 hours and then that huge one this arvo! He's settled and resettled without much fuss at all. I've given up trying to work this boy out, I swear, after such an awful day yesterday! Not holding out much hope for tonight though We'll see how we go. I think it's really sensible to try to stretch K's feeds out a bit before trying the thickner or medication - you might not need them after all! How often is he feeding now? How long do you need to stretch him out for? Let's hope the trip to the chiro helps, it usually does so fingers crossed! I really hope you guys don't have a bug! That's the last thing you need right now! You poor thing, some days it's all just a bit too much isn't it?

Girls I'm sorry for being such a downer last night but I was just beside myself about my little man. He seems much more settled today so I guess for now I just wait and see how he goes. I have a few options left (taking him back to the osteo and a stay a sleep school) so I guess I can't give up just yet.

Only negative about today is that I had his head circ. checked again and it's still growing and is now off the chart - literally. He is well above the 97th percentile. So I called the paed at the hospital and left a message with his secretary (he runs a clinic at another hospital on tuesdays) with the measurements etc so hopefully he'll get back to me tomorrow. The clinic nurse was a little concerned too and said we'd need to keep an eye on it. If it continues they'll need to do scans on his head to make sure there's enough room for his little brain to grow
