Snug that's such a shame about the nutritionist, after reading that you were seeing one I was even thinking about seeing one too.... Something does hold me back though because I feel that they are trained with a more conventional way of thinking which I don't feel congruent with as my ideas on health and nutrition are a little more alternative. I'd be interested in why they told you you could have lost the baby! And how rude anyway they are NOT an obstetrician or a specialist in miscarriage are they??? Big honey and I'm on your side through and through

Ammaki it's so great that you love netball so much

AFM my friend came over today and I did a great workout again YAY and I think I will look for a ticker that focuses more on body fat rather than weight loss????? And I'm eating really well today YAY

DH is setting up the bike trainer in the lounge room tonight. I am feeling so blue. Might try and force it out through my legs a bit. Riding on the trainer is 50 times harder than on a normal bike, so should help me build up my pistons (that's what I call my legs)
At some stage I will have to do something to build up my upper body strength too.

Hey snug bug you piston pusher I tend to do more upper body stuff all the time, the only leg things I really do regularly are squats and walking... I have just started training like I used to do and that is one day cardio chest, tris abs and one set of 20 squats, the next session is cardio back, bis, abs and 20 squats and the next session is cardio, heaps of squats, legs, butt and thighs and abs

Hope you feel better tomorrow... I tell you what I pulled all the resources I had to get myself back motivated today and I am really impressed with myself for not giving up even though I saw an increase on the scales

Hey Snug- sorry you are feeling down. It must be the time of year I think. I hope the bike riding helps. You definitely need a bit of TLC I think. Big hugs.

I have really been avoiding Calorie King. Finally went on today and was happy to see that I didnt go over yesterday or today. I have lost a little bit of faith that I can get my weight any further down so I really have to shake that out. Plus work is soooo sucky at the moment. Bring on January so I can walk away from that place once and for all. Sigh.

Anyway I am going to gear up the weight loss this week. We can do it! We can do it! Yes we can!

Oh krysalyss, dont' give up! You have done so amazing well and your Huge loss so far proves that calorie counting works Stick with it and maybe shake up your excercise routine so that your body thinks it is different and burns more fat? (just an idea, I'm sure you do that anyway)

AFM I am back into the groove and am sooooooo proud of myself for not giving up yesterday and instead I somehow motivated myself to just keep going because 'I know calorie counting does work'... And it payed off, today I was down to 70.4 kg So excited again and am looking forward to weighing in on Moonday now

Thanks Cherished! Am feeling a bit better today. I think it has been hard because I went away then came back then went away so have been up/down/up/down and trying to get back into it. But I think I am now as I am counting my cals for the third day in a row. I think I also need to step on the bathroom scales each morning to get some kind of idea but still use my work ones for official weigh ins. It does keep me motivated when I see some kind of downward trend.

Yay on your loss! Heres to a good week

OK I hope someone is a priest in this thread because I'm coming to confess and then pray it doesn't bit me on my big bum tomorrow I went well over my calories on Saturday eating Pizza for dinner followed by hot choc and biscuits! and then today I have eaten way too many calories again with a huge breakfast, nachos and wine for lunch and than choc bullets!!!! (((insert smack bum icon here))) So I guess I will be paying for it on the scales again tomorrow

The good news is that I decided on Friday to find a womans weight training/body building group and if there isn't one make one. This might mean joining a gym again or at the least getting a 12 visit pass (which I can claim back on my health insurance) which I would use to meet up and do a workout once a week with whoever I am doing it with and the rest of the time I can workout in my home gym.... This is all just an idea and if it works out well and I actually find people to do it with I will than get a 12 month membership or something... I'll keep you all posted on this

    Hi Everyone!

    I just found this thread....

I started my weight loss journey last Monday, so my first official weigh in is tommorrow!

It has been a pretty good week I think. I have decided to have one day a week of allowing myself some treats, which is Saturday, and the rest of the week I am just making sure that everything that I eat is wholesome healthy food, I am not counting calories because I am breastfeeding a 4 month old bubba boy.
I have done a little exercise this week, and plan to step it up a bit more this week coming.
I am relying a lot on my faith to do this (this is a whole other story that I have posted in the christianity thread) and this is having amazing results for me

We also plan on TTC our third bubba this Christmas, so that gives me a bit of a deadline, but at the same time I know this is going to take a while, and remind myself that each day is one step closer to my goal.

I am 163cm and weigh 103.2......so we will see what the scales say tommorrow.
I am aiming to lose 40kg (63kg), but I am just focusing on the first 20kg at the moment.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend, and I look foward to sharing the journey!!
