hey luv......i know exactly what you mean.....this woman doesn't attack him not one bit, but always goes after me.....we have decided that if we are going to do anything, we are going to do it legally....we have an appointment with our solicitor who also happens to be a magistrate...he is brilliant and after speaking with him briefly about it on the phone, he also agreed that doing things legally is the way to go and it means more....i had my eldest son home for the weekend and his uninvited friend, my weekend was a shocker to say the least....i cried on and off all weekend, i couldn't wait for them to leave, accept for my son because i wanted to spend more time with him than what i did, but hopefully at xmas when he comes home we can catch up then.....cheers kiya

Hi LadiesIts been 3 weeks and im STILL BLEEDING,im getting a bit worried because if i want to have a FET this year i need to have another period by the 3rd December.
Im off on a family holiday on the 9th Jan so im really hoping i will be pregnant when i go.Yeh we are going to Malaysia KL for a week then off to Bali for 2 weeks then back to KL for 2 days,im really looking forward for this holiday,so my plans are 1 week of shopping in KL then Bali here i come for massages and freash fruit juice each day hmm heaven.

Hi Kiya....OMG i had to laugh at the teenage giveaway.Yeh it sounds just like my teenage daughter, you love them and hate them at the same time.
Gosh i had a bad night yesterday my DH said to my oldest son he could rent our house and if he wants it he can move in asapi just broke down and cried my head off,i feel like ever since my son started high school i havent been able to spend much time with him because all his stupid friends have his mind.I just miss him and i know i should be happy for him that he is growing up but im just full of heart ache.Hmm how do you let go?

Dearmum......yes when i read it i thought it was so priceless yet so true....teenagers are a lot of fun thats for sure, and they certainly know how to push our buttons but at the same time we worry for them even when they don't want us to....you trip sounds fabulous.....can i come too....LOL....well we have had to put my treatment on hold yet again, but this time for a very valid reason.....DH'd father is in hospital, he just suffered another stroke....so i told DH that i would wait until the time was right with family etc, then we will charge on full steam ahead...he didn't want to wait, but like i said to him, it would be better for me, if we waited because that way i'm not trying to have a baby while i'm stressing about family etc....he finally saw my reasoning and agreed.....well better dash got to do some shopping......cheers kiya

I thought he got the chop? It would be nice for Breah to have a playmate close to her age. I think if you are happy with having another baby and this is what you want then i say go for it girl. cheers kiya

    Exclamation After some Advice please!!

    Hi im a newbie

My name is Jodi and we have decided that three is not enough. We really want one more baby and by we i mean all five of us.

Just wondering if anyone here can help with info on Tubal reversal.
I have an appointment to see gyno at womens hospital in Melb,(was s'posed to be the 3/11/08 but now they have moved it to the 17/11/08) just wondering what do i expect.

I have been searching for weeks for some advice and info but no luck, i would really like to speak to someone in the same boat. Does anyone know if the waiting lists are long. What ? do they ask. I just want to be prepared and settle some of these nerves im having.

Has anyone had problems with periods after having the TL done? I have had nothing but horrible AF. I hope im not being rude by butting into your thread hopefully i can get to know you all over our journey to Concieve.

    Any help would be great!!!!!

Welcome Waggers :-) Your not butting in. I personally haven't had my TR as my tubes are to damaged. I was going through the process of having it done then i was found to have endometriosis and they found my damaged tubes. I'm now going to have IVF, but have just had to put that on hold due to family illness which comes first before my happiness. We will get there soon i know i will. Good luck with your journey to a TR....Cheers Kiya

Hi girls, how are you all today ?

Kiya, you guys have really had a rough go of it lately. I imagine everything is very hard for you but just know that things will fall into place for you guys soon... I still havnt pm`d you yet but I will soon

Em, good to hear from you. Wow another one, I think that its great if thats what you guys want. All the best.

Luv, sorry things are a bit slow for you, it sounds weird wishing for af when all you want is for it to not arrive but under the circumstances I hope she comes and vissits you soon.

Dearmum, how are you doing ?

Thankyou all for asking after me !!! well I had my 24 week midwives app on Friday and everything is looking good...I`m measuring 25cm so pretty much spot on at the moment. I`ll be 25 weeks on Monday, it is going so fast.. I have been having tummy cramps on and off the last couple of weeks, they tell me its ligamental pain or bub giving the reversal scar a bit of a hammering !!
Well I look like a bit of an elephant but have only gained 4.5kg so Im happy with
    that at this stage.

Welcome waggers, your not butting in.... I`ve just got visitors so I will catch up with you later and let you knoe all I know !!! I had a reversal at that hospital in 06...
    see you

Hi Waggers and welcome to our little thread. You have come to the right place to get advise and get to know some cool chicks ALONG THE WAY.
I had my reversal in Sydney at RPA Hospital in October of 2006. I had to pay for mine as i was not prepaired to wait($3500)private patient in a public hospital so it was cheaper. We tried for 12months to fall pg without any luck. So we did IVF instead much cheaper ($1400)safer and a higher chance at falling pg with out the ectopic pregnancy risks. Now we have a beautiful little girl. Good Luck with your journey what ever you decide and hope to hear some more from you soon.

    Hi Ladies....
Nice to hear from you all, gosh im gone for a week and everyone has been on.
Well yeh not much happening my end as im still waiting on my bleed to finish, and then i have to wait for AF so i can start a new IVF cycle.I really hate B****Y waiting i mean gosh this bleed has been going now for almost 5 weeks,i cant move on.

Hi Mumof6....Way to go!i know if i was you i would try again for another little brother or sister just think your little Breah will love another one to play with.Ok lets do a cycle together.

Hi Kiya....Oh Babe one problem after another,i swear this has been a bad year for nearly everyone.Lets hope next year brings us happiness.

Hi Onemore...Im so happy to hear you and bub is doing great.Wow 4.5kgs your going good i have put on 4.5kgs but i have no bub man i need to get stuck into loosing this prego weight.

Hi Luv....Hows things going with you?will you be doing IVF fairly soon?

Hi Waggers....Welcome! yeh i cant advise much about the TR because i went straight to IVF and fell pregnant straight away but sadly lost him at 20 weeks.I do remember my TR doc saying there was a high chance of a etopic and it will take alot longer to fall pregnant atleast a year. With IVF it took me only about 6 weeks.Good luck with your appt let us know how it goes ok.

Hi To everyone else...Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
If anyone wants to see me and my family im on facebook please PM me and i can give you my full name so you can look me up.

Hi ladies I`m back !!! Sorry its taken so long to get back on.

Waggers I`ll give you a quick rundown on my journey... I have 2 boys aged 9 and 10 and had a tubal ligation 2 years after our second son was born thinking we were sure we were done !!! About 3 years later I started to get clucky and for a few months just put up with it thinking it would go away. It did`nt.. I found the Royal Womens in Melb and contacted them, I`m in Tassie so I had to make the trip over. You will have to have bloods taken and your partner will most likely have to have a sperm test to make sure all is ok in that department. These things will probably happen over a couple of appointments, and they ask lots of questions about why you want another baby but that is pretty straight forward. You will then sign forms for the op and I sugest you say yes to the "If someone cancels at short notice you are willing to take her place" question.
They then tell you the waiting list is about a year but it is usually sooner than that It took us 9 months from the first appointment to the day of the op.
The opperation is fairly big, they make a cut across your pubic line about 10cm long and then use laser to cut and then rejoin the tubes, then they will run some dye through to make sure they are clear. You will be in hossy for about 4 days and you will be sore for a few weeks after. They say it can take about 12 months to fall pregnant and after 12 months your chances of concieving fall. For me 12 months came and nothing and it is very stressful... so I then had the dye put through the tubes to see if there was a blockage and sadly they told me both tubes were blocked, I was devistated but about a month later I found out I was pregnant unfortunately I lost that little bub at 9 weeks but am happy to say I am now 6 months pregnant It took about 6 months after the miscarriage to get pregnant again.

Its a tough emotional road to travel but the end result is all worth it. As the other ladies have mentioned IVF can give you a quicker result but it just depends on your financial position.. with us we just could`nt afford IVF so chose this path.

I hope I hav`nt bored you too much with this long post !! and wish you all the best for the future...

hi dearmum hope things get back on track for you soon and you can get started again.

    hi to everyone else.
