    Hi all,

    ITS A GIRL

The scan was great, although half the time I could`nt see what the scan guy saw.. must take a while to learn all that.
She was very wrigly and just would`nt lay still for too long which made it a little hard to see if there were any dangly bits there !! but he was fairly sure it is a little girl.. never 100% though...

When I booked the apointment they told me to drink 4 glasses of water 1 hour before the scan so I did and OOOHHH boy, we got into town with 45 mins to wait and I was in soooo much pain I said to hubby I cant do this I`ve got to pee I could`nt walk so while DH was at Toyota I had to drive 50 metres to go to the loo... Hubbys like your in trouble when we get to the hospital!!! So we go in and Im feeling a lot better that 30 mins ago( and I had to stop halfway through peeing so there would be enough still in there) the Dr says to me WOW your bladder is really full, are you too uncomfortable? hubby gave me this funny grin. Then halfway through the scan I had to go out and pee AGAIN because my full bladder was in the way.

Sooo happy though, now we have 2 boys and soon a girl, hubby is relieved! our family will be complete with this little one.. no more(I promise honey)

Dearmum congrats on your little man wish you all the best for the rest of your pregnancy

Kiya - thanks for the well wishes... I still sometimes find myself amazed that we are halfway throughmy pregnancy after all that has happpened over the last 2 years.
On a sad note one of the girls in bellybudies for Feb just had her 19week scan and was told she has to have a termination as there is no amniotic fluid around her bub therefor cannot survive so heart renching, she mentioned how her and her DH were planing to find out the sex and tell everyone, now they have to tell them the worst news possible.... just so sad.

Dearmum, sounds like you had fun yesterday.. I hav`nt invested in much yet but my cousin gave me her change table which I had painted white so today my eldest DS and I bought some cute girly stickers and came home and decorated it, it looks so cute and I covered the top with a pretty pink blanket.

Luv - so happy for you on starting the ball rolling on IVF. Sorry cant help you with the fibroid thing, I did have a look on the net but it only said how they can cause infertility along with other things and how they remove them but nothing about concieving post removal..Im positive every thing will be fine for you and your family. Best of luck.

    Hi to every one else.

Hi LadiesI had such a scare the other day yeh i went to the toilet and found BLOOD by the time i seen the blood it was already late so doc told me to come in the next day well thankgod everything was ok with bub but i may have an infection so im still waiting for the results.I had such a fever thats only just gone so im still in bed with aching bones and headaches, well im sure in a few days things will go back to normal.

Hi Onemore....No i havnt been decorating the nursery as bub will need to sleep in our room because my kids being teenages they need there room to themself, yeh i need to build a six bedroom,i have a 5 bedroom and our youngest is 12 so its not fair to put the baby in with them.I have bought everything else like the pram, car seat, nappies hehe and lots of clothes its great now that i know what im having. Are you missing sleeping on your stomach?thats what i miss the most, also im not looking forward to breast feeding as i get cracked and bleeding nipples for a week so im dreading that.

    Evening all,

Dearmum you sure do have a house full !! Our boys are only a bit over a year apart in age so are happy to share a room. They acctualy decided themselves last month, we had family stay over for a couple of weeks and they used DS1`s room, so when they left the boys decided to stay in the one room.

I still occasionaly lay on my tummy( sort of on an angle) but have to put a pillow underneath. Backache is my bigest issue, It was bad before I fell pregnant. I`m starting swimming next week so hopefuly that helps a bit. Im really looking forward to breastfeeding although the cracked sore nipples are not at all apealing

I`ve gained 2.3kg since the 12 week booking-in appointment so am quite pleased about that as I am trying to be a bit more careful this time apart from the chocolate...
I gained about 30kg with the boys and never really lost it so Im aiming for 10-15kg this time.

    Hi to everybody else

Better go or I wont get up to get the boys off to school.

hey everyone, just checkin in.... well not so good news. I have been debating with the clinic about the fact that i want to have 2 eggs put back not one. my intuition which is very strong, tells me that i will loose the first one. I have had 6 m/c and the polycystic ovaries with the fibroid and they are telling me that i can only have one egg put back.! i have said repeatitly that it is my choice because the embryos are mine and i have told them i understand the risks. They are still fighting me. This is puttin a big halt on things cause i am not sure i can go through all that and then m/c only to have to go back and pay money to get there and money to have another transfer!!!!!! i can't believe they are trying to tell me that i am not in a higher risk bracket for m/c!

Hi Ladies After all the excitement of buying the blue clothes and seeing him on the 19 week scan the outcome is no good.

Here goes Last week i was sick and had a bleed so i rang my doc and he said come in the next day so i went in and he checked all seemed ok so he asked me to have a BT and urine test for infection, come a few days later i called them thinking they would call me if something was wrong, well it turned out i had a infection so they asked me to take these tablets that my chemist guy said was to strong for pregnant women but i had to listen to my OB so i took them, ladies that night i had slight contractions but because they were not painful i didnt take notice, well come the next morning my waters broke yeh they b*****Y broke i was sooo shocked because this sort of things dont happen to me i have never had any problems with my other pregnancies. My DH rushed me to the hospital and the doctors said there is nothing they can do because all my water is gone and they cant help a 20 week baby he needs to be 24 weeksmy heart just dropped i felt sad and angry at my OB,so i prayed he will survive another 4 weeks.Ladies it only got worse the tube ended up coming out of me,but he was still alive the docs were amazed but they told me to make a decision as if we keep going i will get infected and the baby is still going to die anyway.Oh gosh so now it was up to me,it was the hardest decision as how can i pull the plug on my baby boy.We had to make up our mind so i thought let him go back to god and be in heaven, and ladies after i told the docs he died.I went through labour 1.5hrs but i had my family with me,we all prayed and said our last goodbys.I will always miss him,i will always love him.I think he was to good for this world so god took him back.

Oh Dearmum im so so sad for you i really don't know what to say but im sorry you have to go threw this terrible terrible time. God look over you and your family at this time of need. I think i would be giving your OB a nice letter from your lawyer.

Seems everyone is having a tough time at the moment, it just doesn't seem to stop. I too have had a bl00dy **** weeks. It all started last friday one of my girlfriends dropped in and said sorry i havent been around but my aunty had died, she was only 47. Then i went to pick the kids up from school and my DD1 said oh mum the sadest thing happened today my best friends dad died, she got a call from her sister when we were in maths. I was thinking oh my god thats so sad. So we got home and i was tell my DF about it all and me and my big mouths says theses things happen in 3's. So on saturday we made a picnic lunch and off to cricket we went(i hate watching cricket). Half way there my mobile rings and says my DD great grandma is dying and to come asap thats was 1pm. So i went home booked some flights and a hire car and off to Queensland we went and landed at 7:30pm. We got home tuesday night late very tired and drained i only took 3 of the kids with me. When i got home my 4 year old said mum i have a sore tooth and i said its ok i'll look at it in the morning its very late. In the morning his cheek was abit swollen so i took him to the dentist who then gave me a referel to see a dental specialist that afternoon. So we went to that and she said he needed about $4000 in work done, i replied with "god are you going to gold plate them". So we booked it all in to be done next thursday the 2nd but if the swelling went into the eye area then take him to hospital. So he woke up the next day and his cheek was so so swollen so straight to westmead childrens hospital and i called the specialist on the way there. They gave him a general that night and took four teeth and did stints and what ever else so we got home late last night. So in just a week ive blown $6000 . Never ends.
Hope all you girls are good and take care XXX

Oh Dearmum, so so sorry for the loss of your little boy. I can only imagine what you and your family are going through.
I just finished reading another thread from belly budies for Feb and one of the ladies there has just also lost her little boy at 20 weeks, his kidneys etc had not developed properly therefor not producing amniotic fluid and she had to be induced.
Why this happens I will never understand, it is just not fair. Then I come in here and the news just gets worse. I cant stop crying Take all the time you need and please look after yourselves.
