Ohhhh Mel - How much would I love to have gone into labour - I would have already had a babysitter on hand! hehehehehe
I am having a massage tonight, so I am really looking forward to that and she is going to try and bring on labour as well, but seriously though - a nice massage will be ace!
You are wonderfully lucky, Mel with the 12m leave. I work as an independent, so in theory, I can also have all the time I need (of course, no work, no $$). I am trying to not over plan myself, but I do have a terrible habit of freaking out without work, so over committing to work! I just keep trying to remember that I only have 2 months til baby and I am yet to know what that means ... so chill out! I'll see what projects are going on and make a decision then. I have put my name down for 2 childcare places from 6m just in case and of course there are parents ...
We don't know sex of kid, so the room is very simple really. I couldn't be bothered painting it (I am SO lazy these days) so we have left it pretty much white(ish). We have some very cute things to put on the wall that will liven it up and add colour though. I have been very fortunate that a girlfriend has given me heaps of stuff and the room is already lively!
Relle, good luck to day. You are back w Dr D? If you are in labour around 730pm, give a loud scream and I will hear you downstairs in the class!! Fingers crossed for you! Can Dr D give some indication how far he thinks? Can you tell how far away you think? SO EXCITING!
Hope the massage helped as well. You def deserve more of that!
