Baby Wipes 2023

BellyBelly has decided to update its previous articles regarding reusable baby wipes. Here are the latest Reusable Baby Wipes 2023.
Reusable baby wipes are becoming increasingly popular as parents look for ways to reduce their impact on the planet. Unlike disposable wipes, which are tossed into the trash, reusable wipes can be washed and used time and time again. Washable cloth wipes are kind to your baby’s sensitive skin and better for the planet, so it’s no wonder they’re flying off the shelves.

The throwaway culture of disposable items is causing problems around the world. Landfill sites are filling up with disposable baby diaper wipes and other single-use items. Considering all the diaper changes you’ll do over the next three years, you can make a huge difference by choosing reusable cloth baby wipes.

Are washable wipes ok for sensitive skin?

If your baby has sensitive skin or has suffered from allergic reactions in the past, you might be cautious about the products you use on your baby’s skin. Unlike standard disposable wipes filled with irritating ingredients, cloth wipes are great for sensitive skin. The soft fabrics are kind to your baby’s skin and using warm water is also ideal for babies with sensitive skin. If your baby’s skin is particularly delicate, you should use a gentle laundry detergent when washing the wipes.

Are washable baby wipes expensive?

Although people sometimes assume you pay extra for eco-friendly products, cloth wipes are actually cheaper than disposable wipes. The initial outlay is greater but they are still affordable because you only need about 30 wipes to last you through to potty training. If you added up the cost of disposable wipes over the same period, the price would be much higher than if you bought disposables. You won’t really notice the washing costs either, because there are only 30 wipes and you can put them into the machine with a general wash.

How many washable baby wipes do I need?

Just 30 reusable wipes should be enough to get you through to potty training. Most washable cloth baby wipes come in multipacks, which makes it cheaper to buy enough for your needs. Be sure to feel the different fabrics to compare their texture and how strong they are.

If you use disposable baby wipes, you’ll need thousands by the time your child is potty trained. However, if you opt for cloth wipes, you should be ok with a stash of just 30. It sounds hard to believe but those 30 wipes can be used time and time again. That’s why the best baby wipes are washable.

How to wash reusable baby wipes

Some people are put off the idea of reusable baby wipes by the thought of the extra laundry. However, it really needn’t be off-putting. If you consider that there are only 30 baby wipes and they fit easily in the wash with other items, it shouldn’t feel like a hassle.

If you’re cloth diapering, you can simply put the cloth wipes in with your cloth diapers. If you don’t use cloth diapers, don’t worry; your reusable wipes can go in with your regular laundry. You’ll need to keep a wet bag near your diaper change station for soiled wipes. When you notice your stash of clean wipes is getting low, simply check the dirty wipes in the washing machine.

5 best reusable baby wipes of 2023 (US version)

If you only need 30 reusable cloth wipes, you’ll want to make sure you get the best ones available. You want soft and gentle wipes for your baby’s soft skin, but you also want them to last. Durability and sturdiness are also important because you want the wipes to clean up big messes with minimal effort. One of the benefits of washable baby wipes is that they’re better at protecting your hands from poop during diaper changes, so be sure to get thicker wipes that will offer the best protection.

To help you find the best cloth baby wipes for your baby, here’s a list of the 5 best reusable baby wipes in 2023 (USA):

Baby Wipes 2023 #1. OsoCozy flannel cloth baby wipes

OsoCozy organic flannel wipes are super soft and gentle baby wipes – perfect for sensitive newborn skin. Made from 100% cotton flannel, the OsoCozy wipes are thicker, so they’ll protect your hands from tough messes. The baby soft wipes are smooth, strong and durable. The single-layer fabric also allows for fast drying, while providing long-lasting softness.

We love the colorful detailing around the edge of each square, allowing these wipes to add a touch of fun to your diaper bag. Diaper change products don’t have to be boring, so it’s great to see a flash of color on these wipes.

At 8″ x 8″, the OsoCozy wipes are bigger than some other wipes on the market. Although they might take up more space in your diaper bag, it also means you can get away with using fewer wipes per diaper change. The fabric is thinner than some competitors’ wipes, but the extra large size means you can fold them for extra thickness if you’re changing a particularly dirty diaper.

OsoCozy flannel cloth wipes are available in packs of 10 and 45. If you purchase 45, you won’t need to buy baby wipes again in the future. The durable OsoCozy cotton flannel wipes will last you to potty training and beyond.

Baby Wipes 2023 #2. Babygoal reusable bamboo baby wipes

Bamboo doesn’t take much energy to produce and is fast-growing, making it a perfect sustainable material. Babygoal’s reusable bamboo cloths are sustainable and soft – perfect for your baby’s extra sensitive skin.

At just 4.92″ x 4.92″, Babygoal’s reusable bamboo wipes are some of the smallest wipes available but they are fine for diaper changes. These washable wipes are made from a 2-layer fabric, so they are thick enough to protect your hand during dirty diaper changes. The wipes are also strong and durable, so you know they’ll last as your baby grows.

Constructed from 80% viscose bamboo and 20% polyester, these wipes are soft and flexible, making them ideal for diaper changes. Naturally hypoallergenic, these Babygoal washable baby wipes are absorbent, so you know they’ll do an excellent job cleaning your baby’s mucky skin.

Baby Wipes 2023 #3. Charlie Banana reusable organic cotton wipes

Charlie Banana’s organic cotton reusable wipes have the signature softness associated with Charlie Banana’s products. These gorgeous soft wipes will gently clean your baby’s baby soft skin and care for the planet, too.

The wipes measure 9″ x 9″, making them big enough for even the filthiest diaper change. Constructed from super soft 100% cotton, the wipes are kind to your baby’s skin.

These long-lasting Charlie Banana wipes have been rigorously tested for harmful substances, so you can rest assured these wipes are safe for your baby’s delicate skin.

Baby Wipes 2023 #4. Mama Koala reusable bamboo wipes

Mama Koala’s reusable baby wipes are an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to disposable baby wipes. We love the gender-neutral brown stitching around the edges of the wipe, which gives the wipes a gorgeous retro aesthetic.

The soft bamboo cloth wipes come in a 12-pack. The wipes are 7.8″ x 7.8″, making them medium-sized baby wipes – not so big they’re a hassle and not too small to be useful. These are the wipes Goldilocks would pick for her baby. The double-ply bamboo fabric is fantastic for absorbing liquid and will protect your hands during poopy diaper changes.

Mama Koala’s reusable bamboo wipes are bamboo terry cloth wipes made up of 80% bamboo viscose fiber and 20% polyester.

Baby Wipes 2023 #5. Bumkins reusable flannel wipes

Bumkins reusable flannel wipes are a fantastic choice for your family. These sturdy wipes are made from 100% unbleached cotton flannel. The soft, sturdy fabric squares are 8.5″ x 8.5″, making them a decent size for a baby wipe. The Bumkins washable flannel wipes are a versatile product – perfect for diaper changes, bathing and after-meal cleanups.

The soft fabric will be gentle on your baby’s soft skin. In addition, the neutral wet wipes feature a vibrant aqua trim to add a dash of fun to your diaper bag. The Bumkins flannel wipes are available in packs of 10.
