You see, babies are really lovely. And the idea of babies is even lovelier.
The babies you daydream about probably just sleep nestly on your shoulder, as you deeply inhale the scent of their perfect newborn heads. The probably don’t cry, or poop in their nappies, and they almost certainly don’t have sick flying out of their noses.
What’s that? Sick flying out of a baby’s nose? Yes, that’s a thing. And, don’t worry if you’ve never seen it, because the kind people over at Buzzfeed have compiled a video for you so you can see it in action. If you’ve ever wondered what 60 seconds of continuous baby vomit would look like, now’s your chance to find out.
This video is not suitable for you if you have a weak stomach. It’s also not advised for pregnant women who have recently purchased new sofas, or for any expectant parents who have spent a fortune on adorable matching baby outfits.
The first baby in the compilation is arguably the most impressive. She steals the show by ejecting vomit from her mouth and both nostrils at the same time. An adorable baby Santa pretty much ruins a holiday card moment by spewing up all over himself and his mama. One dad will no doubt be checking his electrical insurance after his adorable baby threw up all over his laptop. You can just imagine the vomit soaking through the gaps in the keyboards.
The video features plenty of ruined family dinners as babies and toddlers chuck up all over the dinner table, sometimes directly onto their plates. One poor little baby even manages to throw up all over an entire birthday cake whilst trying to blow out the candles. One impressively acrobatic babe throws up into his own eye in a classic horizontal sickness move.
The video even features a whole section showing babies throwing up into people’s mouth. If a baby has ever been sick into your mouth you will know how gross this is, how it tastes and, most importantly, how much you can still love your baby even after they have been sick in your mouth. Parenthood is truly mindboggling.
